We're coming to the end of the season now and there are going to be lots of announcements of players signing at the end of the season e.g. July 1st.
I thought i'd give a reminder of how the site has worked in the past and continues to work, although any suggestions for how it should change are always welcome.
Usually we push all future transfers for July 1st through on June 1st so we don't waste time adding them all as future transfers throughout June and then having to update them all on July 1st. Plus it makes the Data Update weird to play if there's loads of future transfers and some immediate transfers just for these next 4 weeks.
The site actually does all future transfers automatically at 1am UK time everyday. So if a player has a future transfer on March 27th, on March 28th at 1am the submission will be automatically updated to become a normal transfer (assuming no-one did it manually before). This way we don't have to go and remember to check every single one.
The month of June is skipped for this, so if a future transfer has a date between June 1st 00:00 and July 1st 23:59 it will automatically be made into an instant transfer at 1am the next day on any date between June 1st 00:00 and July 1st 23:59.
If that sounds confusing i'll try and lay it out as simply as possible:

I agree with this. I've tried to put ten Hag in as Manchester United manager a couple of times, but then it is later disabled.

It looks like you've all accepted future transfers for July 1st when they should be instant transfers. Please double check this thread and make sure they're done as instant.

I've moved all these to instant transfers now, you don't need to do it yourself.
@Footygamer There isn't a limit on how many pending requests a user can have here right? Maybe it's good to implement that, because now I pretty often see edits being accepted that are just not accurate at all, probably because mods want to work away the backlog and don't double-check everything. The amount of pendings is around 4 to 500 sometimes, so it's even understandable tbh

It's a good idea, we probably also need some better tools to monitor who the good contributors are and promote them to mods, right now I just do it randomly.

Is there a way to correct (or point out) the mistakes in the database?
Luiz Diaz is already at Liverpool when the game starts in July 2021 for example, as is Fábio Carvalho

This is nothing to do with files from this site, but it's the way the game handles transfers which happened after the game start date, and has since time immemorial.
