England bowled well at the start of the day.

Agar came in at 11 and played a lovely innings for 98 (despite the fact he was out for 6) and England lost the plot and bowled filth.

Filth or Finn? Is there a difference apart from last night?

Broad wasn't much better (although he's clearly struggling).

Poor sod.

Well batted, but England have a ridiculous habit of letting tail enders score big runs against them.

Don't think Agar is a proper tailender though, his averages are actually pretty good for someone is age he should be at least batting at 7 or 8

Yeah, he played nicely. All cricket shots put away the bad balls and defended stoically, but England bowled dross at him for the most part which made his job a little easier than it should be.

Will be interesting to see his next innings, because England know what he's about now and won't bowl the usual tripe at him that they bowl at number 11s in general. If he can show the mental fortitude for test cricket to couple the obvious technical ability there's no way he couldn't bat at 6 in this Australia side (Glenn Maxwell has after all played test cricket in this side).]

Of course it's probably equally as likely he'll get moved up the order and never score more than 20 again. Cricket's got an odd habit of things like that happening.

I love how shit Australia are.

Premature?

And if the pommies decide to bring up that we only have the lead because our number 11 scored runs, well that would just make the England side look worse wouldn't it? Considering Anderson is the best fast bowler in the world and Swann is easily top 5 for spinners?

Told you

The Broad incident was dodgy but I really doubt that many Australians would have walked in that situation.

We have had plenty walk in the past. We actually have a reputation for it.

He damn near middled that ball disgusting from both the player and the umpire that missed it,

You've had Gilchrist and thats it. And he got dogs abuse for doing it.

Paraphrased from his autobiography:

zero support in the team" for his stance and that he felt that the topic made the dressing room uncomfortable. He added that he "felt isolated" and "silently accused of betraying the team. Implictly I was made to feel selfish, as if I was walking for the sake of my own clean image, thereby making everyone else look dishonest"

Your reputation is actually as a country that coaches players not to walk.

Not walking off the face of the bat.

This is the worst incident I've seen though.

Mind you Harbajhan is a cunt, so it's expected.

No one gives a shit about Marcus North lol he doesn't count. The Waughs have walked, Ponting has walked. All the true champions we have had have walked at some point or another.

Anyways will be a very interesting day 4, we need to take these 4 wickets very quickly or we could end up chasing 400.

That's Clarke.

Also.

Ponting not walking.

Mark Waugh on Clarke apologising for not walking in that video I linked earlier.

He's [Michael Clarke] on Twitter saying sorry for not walking? Mate if he did that in our side there'd be hell to pay. AB would chuck his Twitter box off the balcony or whatever it is. Sorry for not walking? Jesus Christ man

You couldn't be anymore wrong. Australian's don't walk, Gilly aside.

Anderson is bowling extremely well at the moment, but we're going to need more than him to start taking these cunts down.

Hopefully it's fascinating, although I reckon England will rip threw the tail end quickly.

Your number 11 averages 28 in tests. I think this is going to be very close.

Agar's wicket is crucial I feel, no idea what he's going to do whereas Haddin, Starc and Pattinson are far more known quantities.
