Evra's in my fantasy team. That albatross more or less cancels out the advantage of having Southampton's Lovren in it.

We were terrible, but City were brilliant. Fully deserved win for them.

Tottenham scored a late winner at Cardiff through Paulinho.

Navas looked quality there, dunno if it was just Evra being really really shit though.

Paulinho! What a goal!
Great performance by Marshall. Cardiff played with the bus.
Hello again Arsenal. COYS!

We were bad, 4-1 bad I don't know, but any top team that lines up with Ashley Young in their team gets whatever they deserve.

Fellaini was everything that people worried about when we signed him as well, completely out of his depth today.

Just as a general point its hilarious how no one actually bothers to mark Ashley Young, watch it on match of the day tonight it seemed like City were completely content for Young to have the ball because he's shit.

The fact that we still didn't pass to him either suspect that even our players know it too.

Not quite sure where to start with that performance. Everybody was good, even Kolarov looked like a good Premier League player (that's how bad you were in the first half, United fans) most impressive though were Fernandinho, Yaya, Navas, Nasri and Agüero.

Is there a bigger cunt in the league than N'Zonzi? Just a thug.

Oh, there are many, many more. He's not even the biggest cunt in Stoke's squad

Sunderland themselves have confirmed he's gone.

I suppose after the antics at the end of the West Brom game yesterday that him departing was inevitable. They looked fucked either way with their fixture list.

He was a diabolical choice in the first place but give him his dues he came in and kept them up.

To then give him just the five games even if they should be beating Fulham and West Brom (if they even should be) seems more than a bit harsh, no matter how bad they've been.

I suppose I can't really talk given he led them to a 3-0 win on Tyneside, which is probably the most fun Sunderland fans have had in about 3 years.

Five games does seem very early and they were really unlucky not to get all 3 from Southampton, plus showing bursts of potential in their games. I daresay not helpful was their painful fixture list upcoming (their next home games are Liverpool, Man United, Newcastle, Chelsea and Man City) and although it does seem early I daresay their board must have felt they were almost certainly going to go down with him running amok.
Also after he admitted challenging a ref and losing

That obviously did not help. But what happened at WBA looked like the final straw.

The Daily Mail are reporting that yesterday, di Canio pulled his team to the club's traning ground for a bollocking and most of the team duly said "we don't want to play for you anymore", which Ellis Short saw as grounds for dismissal.

Sunderland have a huge attitude problem with their players - Di Canio should have been given more time.

RDM/Pulis/Poyet will all be bad choices, think they might get relegated this year.

The biggest thing he did wrong was criticizing many of his players publicly. Any professional would fall out with a manager that openly bashes him, and I'm really not surprised to see him sacked this early. Even if he stayed for a month longer I wouldn't see things get much better, they are on a steep decline and a change was needed badly.

I think RDM would be a decent manager for them though, they've got a good enough squad to turn it around.
