I've had a think, this season we've:
Scored 1 goal from open play at home, been unable to beat (or indeed score against) the bottom side in the division AT HOME, been unable to beat a side who have only won one game at home this season before today who played for an hour with 10 men and finally only scored 3 goals at home ALL SEASON. Taking 11 points from 12 games.

Edit: Also we've employed Nick Chadwick for the past two-odd seasons.

Steve Kean is the favourite for our vacant managerial post. Therefore all your arguments are invalid

I bloody hope not. It's Stewart Day's first appointment as our chairman so god knows his standards.

Apart from Steve Kean, Nobby Solano has applied and John Coleman said he would be interested in the job, so you can tell it's bit of a dilemma because I would want neither of them.

That said, it could really be anyone as there doesn't seem to be a real favourite and local media aren't giving that much away, so god knows

who do you support? they'd instantly be my second team if solano arrived.

If you don't want Solano I hope your club goes bankrupt - he's awesome.

Yeah I have nothing that could come close to that. RIP Bury FC.

I don't want him because I don't rate him. I believe it's a gamble too big at the moment. If we were somewhere in mid-table or just outside the play-offs then I would happily take him because I think he got what it takes to do a Gus Poyet and fire us up the leagues BUT we are only above the relegation zone because of Northampton's slightly worse goal difference, so we can't really afford appointing someone as inexperienced as Solano.

Knew he'd either a) never get a job in football again, despite some of the absolute shite the media used to come out with everyone knows he's a wanker or b) get a job in an outpost like that where nobody will know what a wanker he is. They will soon.

Never heard of that rule before, regarding the penalty decision. Is it well known?

Since when does it need to hit another player?

It's a definite rule I have never heard off before, always thought you were allowed to hit the rebound.

Seen it happen before, you can attack a rebound off the keeper or if the keeper touches it onto the woodwork, but not if it hits the woodwork straight on, its sort of the same principle of taking a throw in or a corner to yourself

I swear we're both trying to match each other in crapness we drew un-inspiringly 0-0 with the MIGHTY Newport County where the best part of the game was when it was stopped for 10 minutes due to floodlight failure and about 100 of us turned our torches on on our phones and held them up.

Nigel Clough is the new Sheff United manager. good luck to him, i felt for him after his rather harsh sacking by Derby.
