Yeah that really bugs me too. I've just started my third season and for the first game of the season I was given the option of asking to postpone my match due to international call-ups. It was accepted.

BOT Brad
Is there anywhere you can actually see your current wage budget? I couldn't find where the actual allowed amount was displayed, only my overall weekly wage spend which included marquee players & youth players.

BOT Brad
Yeah that's what I was talking about, but I couldn't find anywhere which said what the cap was, or how far under it I was. I agree, I had to go through the last season with just 17 players because a few decent regens I had wanted bigger contracts.

Remember BOT Brad finished on 317, so I was nowhere near his total, its possible for people to beat me easily
Shedender
Boring, boring Heart.
Cam3012
In my 3rd season and I'm struggling for numbers. Everyone wants a pay rise so I'm finding it hard to stay in the salary cap. I've had to release so many players.
NiceLad
League - 25 points
Finals - 10 points
Rivals - 13 points
1st season total - 48 points
Harry Kewell was either injured or trump, so didn't win anything
Overall a pretty poor total, inability to beat Western Sydney is a problem. On to the 2nd season!!
Shedender
He was exactly the same for me, huge disappointment.
Cam3012
Yeah I had quite a few players unavailable...
Had to play three greyed out fake players, with another three on the bench. One of them actually scored but unsurprisingly, I lost.
Shedender
I've made a decent start to my second season in charge of Heart as we're sitting top of the table after nine games but we've only scored thirteen goals so we're not entertaining.

Points are as followed:
League: Winners = 25 points
Finals: Winners = 10 points
Champions League = Quarter Finals (couldn't go further) = 10 points

Melbourne Victory: 3 wins: (1-0, 1-0, 3-0) = 15 points
Sydney FC: 3 wins (1-0, 1-0, 3-1) = 9 points
Wanderers FC: 2 wins (1-0, 2-1) = 6 points
Points for 3rd season = 25+10+10+15+9+6=75

So the total for my 3 seasons is:
Season 1 = 57

Season 3 = 75
Total = 57+110+75=242
Dan
Well there we go, you beat me by 1point! haha
VP.

I know. Really annoying and pretty unrealistic.
I'm not sure about other teams but I've had/got some very good players come through my youth team.
