Rotherham 2-1 up against Sheff Wed in the 87th minute, lose 2-3 with a 98th minute goal conceded. The stoppage time was apparently due to Steve Evans' celebrating when they went 2-1 up.

Absolutely brilliant, always hated that twat. When footage of that comes out I'm going to be so delighted.

What the fuck have I just seen? I'm actually stunned.

I just read. The Woodrow/Hutchinson episode sounds like something out of fucking Looney Tunes.

What the actual fuck has happened today?

Start of the day, our official website, Facebook, Twitter, everything announced a 'promotion push', so evrybody who can make it should come down to Gigg Lane and show their support.

To celebrate this, we quickly went behind against Northampton, who were the opposition today and who themselves fought for the last final play-off push, with Plymouth and Newport playing each other. De Girolamo, the young Sheffield lad, some of you were talking about in this thread at one point played a terrific ball to Ricky Holmes who made no mistake. That's pretty much the story of the first half.
Second half began even worse for us, as Joe Riley was sent off after a tackle in the middle of the pitch. From then on, the match got a bit feisty. Many fouls, stop-start action, not very nice to watch. Kelvin Etuhu made it 1-1 after 66 minutes, with a nice shot from just outside the box to level things up. With the game getting out of their hands, Cobblers were happy to see the draw out. But in the 90th minute Adam El-Abd headed a Chris Hussey cross in, to win it for us. And a very big win that is.

Now only one point behind the automatic promotion places (Wycombe with a game in hand though) and 10 points ahead of the non play-offs spots. Next home game against Southend next week will be just as important, as they are in fourth place now.

But as Chris Wilder said after the game: “The sending off galvanised them and the reaction from Bury was that of a promotion winning team" ....

Decent point against Preston. They were the better side in the first half, but we were kept in by a terrific (once again) Adam Davies. Second half was a totally different showing, and we should've gone on to win. Typical Simon Grayson side.. dirty, play acting and time wasting. Bailey Wright kicked/headed George Waring more than he did the ball today. And, terriersmad style, the referee was shocking and bought everything Preston offered.

Gutted that O'Sullivan is back off to Blackburn. The lad has been brilliant and seems to be enjoying it here. Hopefully he'll be back.

He may as well stay with you, we had two younger players on the bench today but Bowyer didn't dare use them. Something desperately needed to change and we had one sub remaining, he should have just thrown one of them on and they'd have put twice as much effort in as some of those that were on the pitch.

But back to O'Sullivan haha, yeah, he should stay with you to keep playing every week.

I just read. The Woodrow/Hutchinson episode sounds like something out of fucking Looney Tunes.

For a while I thought both had been sent off, the red card had flashed twice and both were walking down the tunnel. I think the right decision was reached, but being down the other end all I saw was a hand come out and divert a goalbound shot, couldn't tell you who it was. Still pissed off that the rules don't give us a penalty goal in those circumstances, because frankly that was the only way we were going to score (and given we missed the first penalty after a four-minute delay we were definitely disadvantaged, and I think most football fans would agree with me that the rules need changing and would have agreed after the Suarez incident at the 2010 World Cup)! All the play, all the shots, basically had an hour and a half of unrelenting pressure and undone by sloppy defending and a breakaway after Fulham somehow didn't concede. On another day - on most other days - we'd have hammered them by five or six. Only ourselves to blame for missing two penalties, hitting the woodwork four times, and the keeper putting in the performance of his career. I counted fourteen saves he made. What makes that last one worse was that half his saves bounced straight out and evaded our players in the box every time. A game to make you feel like you really are jinxed.

He was acting like a bell end all game, he's an awful man, unfortunately no one has found any footage yet of his invasion.

Our game today lasted a full five minutes before being abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch. Right decision though, unreal amount of rain coming down just before kick off. Impossible to play such an important match in those conditions

According to Twitter it was looking as good as "off" at 10 this morning, could've saved those Saffend fans a long trip!

In other news we beat a piss poor Cheltenham 3-0. We'll still get walked all over by Burton on Friday though.

Pitch looked "okay" an hour prior to the kick-off in my opinion. Not good, but tbf this is League 2 and not La Liga. But the it just started raining cats and dogs, like at Accrington last year and the ref had every right to start the game and see if we can go ahead. Obviously a bad call for the Southend fans but I'm sure they'd rather see game between two play-off rivals in proper conditions than in this mess.

Big weekend coming up for us, Gateshead at home followed by Alfreton away on Monday. We've sold 2500 tickets that alfreton have given us for that one, in a ground that holds 3600!

Cracking effort, that.

Hoping that Boro will do us a favour and beat Wigan today, and that Millwall don't beat Charlton. We really need three points from somewhere this weekend to just make sure of survival, and we have two tough games at Wednesday and at home against Ipswich. Thankfully, a few players should be back fit, like Bunn.

We asked for more than the 2500 when we sold out but obviously Alfreton said no. Reckon there'll be plenty of Town in the home end and there's a very nicely situated hill outside the ground where people can stand if needed!

Need a win tomorrow first, and hopefully Chester and Nuneaton can get something against Rovers and Barnet.

YES! Another win away from home (5th on the bounce) and yet another clean sheet in 2-0 away win at Cambridge, a place where we usually never win at! I didn't go but by the sounds of it we were dominant and could have easily been more goals for us in that one. Thanks to Wycombe's cock up against Oxford, we are now only four points behind the prootion spots with a game in hand!

Had a poor draw against Burton, who played poorly (and were time wasting cunts) for being top of the league; they went 1-0 up through a fluky deflection, and then the American sniper appeared in the stands and started picking off the Burton players one-by-one by the looks of it. Scored a late(ish) equaliser which was probably deserved, we matched them I reckon, would've taken a point before the game, now on to a massive Bank Holiday Monday game against Pompey away. Taking my nan to that one.

Couldn't get to the game today, but sounds like a good point in a poor game. Sounds like Wednesday had the better of it, certainly, but we nearly nicked it at the end. Still a 9-point gap, with a game less to play.

Drew with Heed today. They are an awful awful team, exactly depicting their manager Gary Hill. We nicked a point in the 95th minute thankfully, having dominated most of the game.

The referee, Mr J Brooks (a premier league linesman) gave the most inept refereeing display I've ever seen. The second worst I've seen happened to be his display when we played Braintree. Totally out of touch and should stick to running the line for those nancys in the prem.

Close.

And Gary Mills is the best manager in the North East who has his side playing the right way, I'll have you know. - According to the Chronicle

Scrapping at the end of our game against Halifax. Macc are in the green, don't blame Halls for kicking off, just protecting his teammate.

That should be it. With Wigan losing and us winning, there's a 12-point chasm between us and Millwall. Millwall need to win 4 and draw 1 in 6 games to get ahead of us - and they won't do that. If Wigan lose another game, they can't catch us. Today's win has pretty much guaranteed Championship football in 2015/16.

Lost 1-2 against Morecambe and I have to say that we absolutely bottled it.

We were 10 up for large chunks of the game, Morecambe were bloody awful and we just couldn't finish them off. Then we went all defensive, brought on a midfielder for a striker and got punished for that. When we realized we cocked it up we went all attacking again and got punished straight back again. Thanks to Wycombe's loss at Burton it's not the end of the world for us but if we want to get promoted we need to start being clever and finish off our opposition

Blimey they fell out of bed from virtually the minute they won the FA Cup.

Same can be said for post-Prem Blackpool, given they're now officially a League One team.

We ended up drawing to Wrexham at the weekend. We face FGR (A), Dartford (H) then Torquay (A).

Not losing this FGR game is huge.If Eastleigh win their game in hand then it's unbelievably tight. We haven't won in 5 games and I'd love to be optimistic but I'm not, I can see us just missing out. (Macclesfield by the way)

If Millwall drop another point, we're safe. If we win another point, we're safe. If we lose all 4 and Millwall fail to overturn the goal difference even though they win their 5 games, we're safe.

Cut a long story short: Championship football in 2015/16 has been all but guaranteed with a first win at Nottingham Forest in almost 15 years.

Very, very, very important result for us today. Beat Newport away 2-0, a place where we usually never pick up anything. This result however means nothing, if we don't win on Tuesday, where we play Shrewsbur at home. Very important game but these are the kind of games you need to win if you want to go up

Confirmed Yeovil have just hit back to back relegations! The drew at home against fellow strugglers Notts County was enough to stick the knife in! Oh what a miserable 24 months its been!
