Welcome to FMTV! FMTV is a new project aimed at helping people discover FM Content on YouTube. If you're a fan of FM use the links to find content organised in handy categories. If you're a creator you can add your videos to get access to an admin panel allowing you to categorise each video. Creators will need to login and categorise each video after it's uploaded. We're also looking for moderators to volunteer and help organise the app.
This tactic is a 4-3-3 designed for being used with a lower to midtable team. The aim is to create a solid defensive shape that allows for high turnovers and quick attacks. There is no real aim at maintaining possession rather a focus on moving the ball forward quickly to get it wide for a cross or work it down the side before cutting inside and shooting.
The team has some interesting elements to it in attack but is very basic in buildup looking to act like a 2-3-2-3 with the fullbacks wider to help stretch the pitch and offer quick passing lanes forwards. The other part of this is going short will help pull the opposition press onto us allowing for more space in behind to attack into.
On the right side, you have a conventional winger whose goal is to get the ball and beat his man before driving down the line and getting a cross into the box for someone to score. On the left side, things are more interesting. The LCM drifts wide while the LW tucks inside making the 2 swap positions. This does 1 of two things. Open up space for the FB to attack into a cross from but also create space at the edge of the box for the RCM or one of the LW/LCM to shoot from.
Finally, when it comes to defending the team uses elements of other managers like Marti Cifuentes and Sebastian Hoeneß who like to have their wide players be aggressive and mark the opposition's wide players. Our goal with this is to force the ball back inside while covering all the players in the middle. Forcing the ball into pressure where we can win it high up the pitch or further backward where the GK will be forced to kick it long and lose possession.
