Create Club Budget Issue

Please help,

I'm a rookie editor and am attempting to create my Sunday league side onto FM2017.

I'm being realistic with attributes but am finding that I'm breaking the club budget.

I don't want to start outside of the Vanarama leagues.

How do I place the potential and current ability or the players I am creating to not bust the budget but to also be competitive in the division.

Please help!

Best bet would be to go into the editor, look at the teams in the league you're going into then find the average potential of players and work around that, probably looking around 40-50 for Current Ability, not sure about Potential Ability, depends on the player (I often just set ranges, -45 to -65 is safe generally), not sure how to not break club budget, don't think there's a save I've played that hasn't been in debt totally, but I'd say just bump the budget up until it works
