Perhaps on the club's timeline page adding tabs for “2D SS Kits” and “3D Kits” (and perhaps “2D FC12 Kits” etc in the future if their community wants to partake, and “2D Standard Kits” as well) so that there's some separation while still keeping everything navigable?

Quick mockup in Photoshop to illustrate what I mean (the tab buttons don't have to be placed exactly there of course!) - I'm picturing that clicking the tabs would stay on the same page but just fade transition between them.

One other thing is that when downloading the kits, they all have the same filename which is the club's UID. Could it be changed to something like “UID_home.png” or “clubname_home.png” instead?

I second adding bolid as a staff member if he's interested at all in doing so. Although I fear that it might lead to him being inundated with more “can you make this English team's kits despite you already working on the whole league system” requests 😅

@Footygamer When hovering over the Careers/Data Update/FMTV/etc dropdown at the top, the current forum thread page is being shown on top of it.

Also there's the locked scrollbar being shown on the dropdown which I think shouldn't be there.

@LFCYNWA This cutout is really pixellated because it was from a low quality source, unfortunately. I think it would be better to use a source image like this one from last year or this one from March 2021 instead. In fact, I think the second source I linked is more recent than the one you used which seems to be from 2020.

Thanks for pointing this out! Do you know who the current megapack cutout is of? I think it's Svenn Ove Gjøringbø (based on this and this Facebook posts) but I'm not sure. If possible, do you think you could find a more recent photo of Tor Håkon Sveen as well, since the correct photo of him is quite old?

Finally, if you spot any mistakes like this in the megapack in the future, please tag @mons to be sure he notices the comment, as the forum moves quite quickly and a comment could be lost otherwise 🙂

Firstly, the cutout should be in 250*250px, like the ones in your second comment. Secondly, it looks really roughly cut and there's a lot of leftover white edges. What did you use to cut the image, and can you post the original source?

I'd recommend using remove.bg to cut images if you aren't already using it.

I meant that I thought the player's cutout was incorrect because it was just copied across from the other profile. I've found a correct photo of the player now 👍

@mons based on this comment I searched for other Ousmane Ba profiles to see which UID @69hp69 meant was a duplicate - this profile (the one I'm commenting on, to save your confusion 😉) definitely seems to be one.

@Cainnnnnnnn Not bad for a first try, but Mavididi already had a better quality cutout submitted a couple of weeks ago from the same source, that will be added to the megapack soon.

There are certainly some ways you can improve your cutouts in the future too - the one you submitted is quite blurry, and it's also less zoomed-in than the one submitted by Michael Nordin. These video tutorials might help if you're learning:

@w1nkz Also, in this case at least I was able to immediately find a source image plenty big enough for a 250px cutout. I'm not sure if you used this same source image – if so then cut the images at 250px instead of 180px. Otherwise, please look for the best possible source images in the future 🙂

@w1nkz In cases like this, where the player already has a fairly recent, high quality 250px, it doesn't make sense to replace it with a 180px cutout. Unless it's a huge change in their appearance (e.g. going from very long hair to very short), or the existing cutout is very old or low quality, please avoid cutting 180px images for players with existing 250px cutouts. If you can't find any large enough source images for a 250px cut, it's better to leave the existing one in place 🙂

A problem with the Retro Kits thread is that “jump to first unread” (this link) doesn't work properly - it either takes you to the beginning post, or to the very latest post, rather than the first unread post. 

@mons This image is older than the current megapack cutout - can't find an exact date but it's from summer 2022 or earlier.

The player has also just transferred to a new team (Athlético Paranaense) anyway and has had a photo taken with them.

Not large enough to be an improvement, and it's from June 2022 anyway so you'd be better off requesting a more recent image since he's signed with Sevilla.

@superfrank81 A few things to point out:

1) Instead of taking a screenshot of the page, we prefer that the original image is uploaded directly. That way we have the image in its original quality and dimensions and avoiding any reduction in quality that happens if the image gets resized on the webpage you took a screenshot of. You can find the original image on the St. Gallen player profiles page by right-clicking on the image and using Inspect Element/DevTools (In this case it's under “<div class="bg-wrapper">").

2) However, because the original image has a background and green-tinted lighting, I think it would actually be better to request images like this one found on the First Team page on the St. Gallen website instead. They might be slightly smaller, but the faces in the images are still plenty big enough for 250px.

3) Finally, if you want to request multiple images in a short span of time (especially if all the images belong to one team), it's much better to request them as a pack. That way you can request much more images at once (you can request up to 50 images instead of 6), and it's easier for mons to download all of the finished cutouts to put into the megapack, as he can just download a single pack instead of having to download each one individually. 🙂

No, like @Debenja said the picture is current. “hs-data.com” and some sites who cater for other player/staff images just periodically overwrite the previous images instead of using new URLs for each update.

@mons I suspect the current cutout belongs to this Antonio de Cillis, currently active as a player in the Italian lower leagues. The birth date and playing position listed in the database match up with this profile.

@Julk44 You should really know better than to submit 9 year old images. Always make sure the images you cut out are recent sources.

The cutouts @Vinis Alves is uploading are ones from old megapack versions (2015 in this case), I can't understand why.

Looks like the Senegal U20 squad on FIFA's website have all been mislabelled. For example, Seydou Sano's picture is labelled as Mame Mor Faye. Pape Demba Diop's picture is labelled as Ibrahima Seck. Mamour Ndiaye, a goalkeeper, has his picture labelled as Ibrahima Cissoko, a midfielder. Mouhamed Guèye (player with #2)'s picture is labelled as goalkeeper Alioune Niang.
