I think you will put the first in the megapack but personally i think the second is better. I did not erase the little snow from the second because i will not waste my time. I don't like the first source , it looks like a photo reconstructed on photoshop. And i don't like to go up the collar , it doesn't look natural and i always take it too high. For the third , i now know that a player who sweats , it is not worth cutting.

Can you elaborate on “I don't like the first source , it looks like a photo reconstructed on photoshop”? The exposure of the photo (and the other SM Caen player photos) is a bit too bright in my opinion but otherwise it's completely fine.

The second is blurry compared to the first - screencaps of a video are generally inferior to professional-quality photoshoots.

For the third, it's not necessarily that he is sweating, but because he is looking away from the camera. “Action shots” of players during matches are to be avoided wherever possible because of this reason, as well as that they are likely to be blurry, because the player is in motion and the photographer has to take the photo quickly instead of having time to get a sharp focus in the image.

Trying to embed a streamable video (this one) doesn't work for me, I get a “This media URL is not supported” message. Additionally, the box for inputting the media URL is cut off at the edge of the comment box:

@TiagoSeattle If you used remove.bg to cut this source image, you'll need to crop to the area around the face first, otherwise if the image dimensions are too large (larger than 500px*500px), it will be resized to a smaller version.

These videos show how to do that:

@bakizp, is this the original source for it, or did you manage to get a bigger version somehow?

If the latter, I'd like to try cutting and leaving a bit more space beneath the chin so that the head is a bit more in the middle of the canvas to see if it looks better. These kind of hairstyles should be outlawed as far as I'm concerned, don't they know how hard they make it for us cutters?! 😉

Uploaded a larger version of the source (from here) 😉

I think it would also be better to crop the sides closer to the main hair edge - perhaps cutting off a couple of tiny single hair strands. There's a bit of a gap in @bakizp's cutout.

@BBB-Croatia One thing I'd like to point out - it's worth checking to be sure that the player doesn't have a recent cutout. In this case the one you cut is from the same source as the cutouts used for the 12.16 and 13.00 megapack versions 👍

Managed to get an uncropped, larger version from that source 😉 (Removed “-16x9” from the end of the URL and changed “630” to “1024”)

Sorry but i do not agree at all. Already i find the other horrible source for this player. The image is missing pixels and the player does not look like that at all in real life. My source is from february 5 , 2021 , the other source must be from august 2020. It's a shame that the player lowers his head a bit on my source.

For me , other than that , my source is clearly superior to the other source. It is a pity that the cuts out faces are not in 500 X 500 pixels , there the difference is obvious. You tried to zoom in on both?

The other source is already in 300dpi. My source is therefore greater if i pass it in 300dpi. Afterwards , you put on the cut out face in megapack you want.

Not all players will always choose the one in the megapack.

I don't understand what you mean by ‘missing pixels', can you be more specific? Regardless, wherever possible, the subject of the cutout should be looking directly at the camera. Because his head is tilted downwards and he's looking away from the camera, it isn't useful as a source image.

I also disagree - your source is not “clearly” superior by any means. The fidelity of the image is poor; because it is a screencap from a video and not a photograph from a professional photoshoot the source has been compressed too much, and the cutout is blurry. I've viewed both cutouts resized to 500px and the only “obvious difference” I can see is that the blurry edges of the hair in your cutout become more apparent… 😕

The image being at 300dpi (dots per inch) is also completely irrelevant - dpi is used for sizing images for printing, and isn't used for computer screens. Instead, images on computer screens are determined by pixel dimensions. Web images are at 72 by “default” and there's no need to change it from that unless you're printing out the cutout images.

@RJK10 The existing cutout is from November and is excellent quality; the source you submitted is very low quality and his appearance is the same, so this isn't an improvement.

@rekooner2 Avoid leaving so much space above the head, only 2-3px is enough.

@alomiler Can you post the source images you used for the recent Hertha/Leverkusen cutouts? They're all blurrier than the existing cutouts for these players, which means I don't think that they'll be improvements.

@mattdonne You've left a bit too much space above the top of the head - there should only be 2 or 3 pixels of space above it.

Hey, how are you guys doing? I have a problem I'm hoping you guys can help me out on this! I'm still playing FM2020 by the way.

I have been creating kits for my created club (replaced TSV 1860 Munich) and I'm loving it using both the 3D and the Kit templates.

I have created the kits for the first team, the one that shows on the club page (home, away, and third) but after trying to change the color font for the 3d kit on the in-game editor, the png of my photoshop made kits are replaced by the ones from FM, as the prints attached.

Any ideas on how to not have the kit I made be replaced?

Thanks in advance lads, have a nice one!

You need to go to the In-Game Editor dropdown menu and re-tick “Allow Licensed Kits” after editing them.

b) It's not a bad cut but the one currently in the megapack was cut only a few weeks ago, so it's not really an improvement.

It's the 11.14 megapack  cutout anyway…

For example now I'm working in the Uae Facecut mostly in the first division and I'm using as reference two thing 1, using the database data I can find in this page and the second is the Uae Football Association in using there photos but I notice that in the page or the database there is some name for example for some amateur players or for actual players that are not in the database Khalid Hassan Mohamed Hussain Alshaibani https://www.uaefa.ae/en/profile/21596

in the database we cannot find his name in the list of players that are in the database or we find players a=that doesn't exist like this one https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/person/23158123

If you find that there are errors with the database, you should post about them in the bugs section on the official SI forum
