#710402 sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs Technical Support Thread
The default skin doesn't support them, try one of these https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-2023-skins
#710399 sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs Technical Support Thread
@[email protected] Are you sure you've reloaded skin and everything and that you're using a skin that actually supports backgrounds?
#710398 sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs Technical Support Thread
That's how it should be, weird. I'll download the new update in an hour to check if something is still wrong with it
#710396 sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs Technical Support Thread
That looks fine, can you make a screenshot inside of one of those folders? It's most important to know where the ‘config’ file is (if it's in there)
#710395 sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs Technical Support Thread
@mienos You should only have one folder for each background type.
To avoid confusion, I'd advise you to always download and extract the update packs to a different place than your FM folder (just put them on your desktop or whatever). After you've copied everything over, you can then delete those.
What you then do is only move the actual images and config over to your backgrounds folder.
Click through all the folders in the update pack until you get here. Copy all of them
And then put them here
Then you need to delete the old config file and replace it with the one in the update pack (I understand it's a bit confusing with how it's currently set up)

Normally you could remove something from the image url to get a larger version, but I can't get it to work with this one. I've already updated all of the Eredivisie teams for this season by the way, so please save yourself the time of checking them again 👍

@remus Thanks for these, but we prefer to have daylight images when possible 👍

@marco949494 Thanks for these, but if you're planning on doing multiple images of the same type, please upload them as a pack. It saves a bit of time with uploading and moderating
Each pack can contain up to 50 images. If you name the images as the ID of the corresponding player/club/stadium, the system will automatically recognise them so you don't even have to type in their names 👍

@6scholl6 Both of those options should work, it's whatever you find the easiest.
Like I said above it's best to have as little sub-folders as possible, so you could even move all of these straight into the graphics folder itself (or into a folder named backgrounds, instead of having pictures > backgrounds > soritoutsi backgrounds megapack)
#710131 How to reuse graphic packs across multiple versions of Football Manager using symlinks
The whole point of this post is to help people that play on multiple versions
#710112 sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs Technical Support Thread
@mienos & @tayfun Can you make sure your folder structure looks like how I explained it a few posts above? If it's still not working then, please post screenshots here of what the folders look like for you.
#710111 sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs Technical Support Thread
Probably not, unless you can name a benefit of it. It won't be faster to download, and you have to apply the updates individually in both situations, so I don't really see the point.
#710110 sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs Technical Support Thread
As above it's a bug, will be fixed 👍
#710108 sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs Technical Support Thread
Does my above comment help? The folder structure can work in a lot of different variations. Generally the best thing to do is to have as little sub-folders as possible. So like I have in my screenshot, graphics > team city backgrounds would work fine.
The config file can either be within the same folder as the images, or seperate like how we have set it up by default.

@Footygamer When extracting the update, it gives you 2 seperate folders for each type (with multiple folders within them)
Can't they be combined so your extracted folder will look like this as well? It's probably causing some confusion for people
#710050 sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs Technical Support Thread
@Jaun Aldu After downloading an update pack, you have to move all the fles from there straight into your ‘main’ backgrounds folder. You now have them in seperate folders with seperate configs, that's why it doesn't work
#710041 Ryan Radwan
@Razvan Stancila This is from 2015, please don't request images that are more than 2-3 years old 👍

#709990 FC 12 Kits Brazil league
The names fix has nothing to do with the kits, don't know why he said that.
Did you download the kits from here already?

@Eloy Gabriel Nuñez Please don't nudge the collar up that far, as it looks fairly unrealistic. Having just a few pixels showing is enough 👍

@Footygamer If you search for a team via the search bar here, it leads you to this page instead of the faces overview
