If he doesn't find a team in England? I can see him being offered a contract, even if it's "just to keep him fit and sharp and he can lend experience to the younger kids in the reserves" etc before being sent out on loan in Jan to some lower league Scottish side. Maybe that's just my cynicism and experience of nepotism going into overdrive though.

Celtic have signed a kid from Ipswich though, Bendyu I think his name is? Even living in Ipswich and therefore interacting with their fans I still know nothing about him. Hope he does well though!

Not sure about those Spurs kits, they could be good but I'd like to see them from a normal angle. Who thought that would be a good way to shoot a kit release? What did they ask Kane to do in the home kit too? Eriksen does a good mannequin though.

Chelsea kit looks like overgrown boys pyjamas.

Is that when it is? Poor do that. Some of the games that are down for Tuesday nights are terrible.

Depending how this current trial goes, if we then do have new owners and therefore a travelling support, we have Plymouth away on a Tuesday night. What scheduling genius came up with that. Gillingham fans won't be too happy either as they're away at us on a Tuesday too!

Hahaha! I knew you wouldn't be able to resist.

Good to see another save following a story style similar to @WT_Franjo and @AWMG

I'll be following this as closely as I do theirs!

Good luck

Tough draw for both Ballymena and Coleraine but I'm quietly confident Crusaders can progress if they can win @ Seaview.

Rangers shouldn't on paper have any problems progressing against, well, Progres.

A mixed bag of first leg results. Some big wins for the British teams, but equally some even bigger loses.

Crusaders did manage an impressive 3-1 victory. Ballymena humped 3-0 away and Coleraine conceded 7 away from home! Don't see either turning those scores around at home.

Rangers only just managed to sneak a win too!

I'll give up talking to myself soon, don't worry

Briefly though, surely Celtic fans won't stand for this clear nepotism? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40437014

I know it says he is just "keeping him fit" until he returns to England to look for a club. Isn't that how these things always start though? I should know, we had the McMahon manager and son combo along with the Inces!

Ouch, @Shedender ! I assume that's split on head to head difference then? Crazy for that to happen in an 18 team league. At least you've still got Champions League football next year. Can I ask what formation you use, hence getting rid of Wendell and Henrichs? How was Ganso too?

So, a couple of first leg fixtures played already.

TNS fell to a disappointing defeat against Gibraltan side Europa, losing 2-1 at home. The highlights are on the BBC for people in Britain.

Elsewhere, Linfield scored late on to snatch a 1-0 victory and give them the advantage. Can't help but feel there are a lot of police hoping they lose the second leg!

Nice work in the qualifying stages, and I think the press conferences etc do read a lot better now (again, just my opinion).

Hope you get a kind draw in the group stage!

Good luck and keep winning!

I guess Plymouth have taken the Bolton approach to media in allowing the work experience kid to handle it?

I don't know what is worse, the photoshop skills or the designs.

I thought affiliations ended when you were in the same league?

I never understand how the game decides whether you get to go on coaching courses or not. Okay I'm sure club finances come into it but it obviously isn't just that.

I've just signed FM legend Ganso on loan from Sevilla.

Pssht, if we're talking legendary players my strike force is Eto'o and Berbatov

Hernandez broke his foot in the first game as I'm sure I mentioned before people think I'm really crazy

Just before World War III starts, Herenveen is a Dutch team, not German!

You asked for some feedback on the press conferences, so I'll give my opinion. Instead of just copying the in game answers and questions word for word, why not flair them up a bit and expand on your answers when writing them up here, add a bit of personality in to them

I am enjoying reading this and following your progress

Yeah he's better than Fellaini in that position but that's mainly because (for me anyway) Fellaini isn't DM, he needs to be played further forward as his best attributes are only really any good in the final third/oppositions penalty box. Place him anywhere else on the pitch (other than defending set pieces) and he offers nothing to the team.

Even then, I still don't rate Fellaini. He's a hairy Peter Crouch but nowhere near as useful. A liability too. Matic will come in and help provide some sort of stability and shield in front of what has been a disturbed back four at United. Speaking of Belgian midfielders, United seem hot on the tail of Nainggolan too from Roma and Morata seems another player they have their hands on...so plenty of potential incomings but no outgoings yet! There seems to be an invisible force holding off transfers that I'm hoping will break soon with some major transfer kicking it all off.

Matic to Man U is heavily rumoured at the minute. Bit of a curious one, that one.

Why curious? Chelsea are heavily involved with chasing Bakayoko from Monaco so I'd imagine Conte is alright with seeing Matic go. Mourinho has managed him in the past so knows what he is getting and needs to shore up the midfield at United, no?

Double post, sorry.

Just seen the Crystal Palace kits what with them announcing the arrival of De Boer. There are a lot of bad kits around for the upcoming season it seems! Don't like the away kit. A new competitor for worst sponsor on a shirt too!

38 goals in 6 years. In only 1 of them 6 years has he managed more than 5 goals.

One season wonder springs to mind.

Well that's wrong. In both his final two seasons at Burnley he had double figures in the League alone, with the latter of those seasons being in the Premier League.

Barely played 10 games at Liverpool overall, but 2 goals in 6 games for them in the league isn't bad for someone who has had his luck with injuries!

I'm hoping he gets a chance this season and has more luck with injuries.

Anyways, the bookies seem to be backing Kane to United. Surely not though? Neither Levy, or Kane, can be that greedy?!
