Good LB, good CB, good DM and either trust Origi / Sturridge or get a good striker.

Happy with the goalkeepers then?

Considering the proximity, I'm surprised there are no French players in your squad!

Keep this up, I'm loving this story!

Personally I think Wenger is now going, just by the way he was describing the squad as 'they' rather than 'us' when saying the group needs to stay together as they can win the championship.

Probably just reading too much into it but generally over the last few months there's been more said by him that makes me think he's going than staying.

I'm not sure if he'll just become director of football, or similar, at the club.

Well, it went quiet in here !

Where do Liverpool fans see the need to strengthen this off-season then? Personally, I think a striker is still needed. Sturridge just doesn't fit and I think his time should be up. Origi is decent enough for rotation and Ings deserves a chance.

There's always question marks around Mignolet too, so I'm guessing a goalkeeper will be high up on the fans' wishlist too? if not Klopp's.

You may have seen it already as they've worn it already today, but Liverpool's new home kit looks like this

https://d3j2s6hdd6a7rg.cloudfront.net/v2/uploads/media/default/0001/42/thumb_41202_default_news_size_5.jpeg

Quite like it myself, hits me in the nostalgia.

I'm sure one of their three kits will be abhorrent though.

Fucking hell the final day was goal crazy. Quite brilliant in a way.

Spurs the first Premier League side to score 7 in an away match.

Its his fourth in 2017, think he's level with Shearer after today's actually. Just looked it up.

Either way, he's not broken the record.

The first to get past 3 though since Shearer's 5.

Kane's got the record for most Hat-tricks in a Prem season now as well doesn't he? Was level with Shearer on 5

No, this was his fourth. Shearer still out there on his own.

You're really going for it with the signings, a man after my own heart.

Keep it up and good luck

There seems to be a growing number of Arsenal fans on social media wanting Arsenal to finish 5th? From reasoning of giving them a better run at the League (don't follow that one myself), a better chance at a European trophy (fair enough), to just wanting to increase the pressure and call for Wnger out.

There's nothing as queer as Arsenal fans.

Celtic are "invincibles", smashing records of points and goals, etc.

Too easy.

Is there any of team in any other league as dominant? TNS in Wales?

Hah! There's a team called Barry, love it.

I guess you're struggling a bit with the tutoring side of deveolping the players, due to all these youngsters being much better then the "old men" at the club! However, Benjamin and Baxter are wonderful signings for a Welsh team, possibly including Swansea and Cardiff depending where they are in your save!

I know financially it's worth staying in the Champions League, but with your side capable of beating sides like Besiktas it must be disappointing not to get a run at the Europa League because now I think you would stand a chance!

@King Luis I guess that is purely in the league though. Would Mourinho have played so many kids/different line ups towards the end of the season if he wasn't aiming for the Europa League? Not saying that would have given him four more wins in the league, just to take into consideration.

Out of those three managers, I'd still probably have Mourinho at my team.

What drama in the League Two playoffs!

And now we have all the idiots gathering at Wembley to show they're just "glory" hunters and couldn't give two shits about the club. Funny how a trip to Wembley seems to help people forget their morals.

From the BBC Gossip column:

Barcelona have been linked with a move for Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko, but AC Milan and Real Madrid are also interested in the 27-year-old France international.

That's exactly what they aren't satisfied with though, settling for top 4 finishes. If a strong end to this season and scraping 4th meant Wenger stayed then it'd only be exactly the same next year (CL last 16, fighting for 4th).

Stoke are dire. Hughes is undoubtedly a good manager but it's gone very stale there, best for both parties if he moves on.

What if they beat Chelsea to win the FA Cup though? Champions League football and a trophy is not something a manager should get sacked for, though I suppose it did not help Van Gaal! Arsenal fans just seem to be going through a collective mid-life crisis. They've partnered with the same person for a lot of years now and want to see if the grass is greener. All I'd say is careful what you wish for.

Stoke were a team that changed managers for the sake of changing managers, it hardly improved them.

Hull could be down tomorrow at this stage. Even a draw at Palace won't be good enough.

If it's the same Palace that turned up at City, then Hull have every chance of getting the win. Out of Hull, Palace and Swansea, I'd like Palace to go down! Doesn't seem likely, though

Wouldn't say no to him at liverpool tbh, not the fanciest striker by any means but he scores goals

Surely he's just an older Sturridge though, who doesn't really fit the system there at the mo.

It's a shrewd move by him really.

No transfer fee, more wages! Just what a player needs towards the end of his career and he has shown he can still perform to a decent level in the top flight.

@King Luis I agree in that I'd like to see him there, or Bournemouth. Who knows though, a proven goal scorer in the top league could attract "bigger" teams.
