What the fuck is Shearer talking about?

He's saying if Newcastle had been quicker and given him more time we would have stayed up. - Kinnear had a heart attack .

How does Shearer find a way to be a bigger moron every week. Can we go back in time and not sign the absolute walloper?

Also it was a penalty? Vertonghen did the foul not Eriksen.

Today - with no pressure and a positive atmosphere is the most fun I've had at a football game in years.

Genuinely felt like no nasty undercurrent - and was just ultimately fun.

I thought Newcastle showing Benitez some love was an indication that we are in fact small time - but Sunderland flying a plane to celebrate 17th really puts that into perspective.

Aye that,

as well as I think Bafetembi Gomis was the man for goals in France for 5 or so years - topped the charts very consistently - and honestly he's not really at the level to be a usual for France.

Ben Arfa is a strange one - either you go with him or you don't surely

I watched a bit of Derby / Hull earlier and can conclusively say I would like to swerve every single player associated with that match.

If we keep a back five of Elliot, Mbemba, Lascelles, Dummett and Anita we'll have the best defence in the division by an absolute mile.

I wonder if there are French or Spanish people on forums saying shit like i wonder if Vardy is actually any good in response to his likely England call up

What?

Its me more like French people who've never seen Mark Noble play - wondering why Mark Noble doesn't play for England

Is it possible guys like Lacazette, who let's be honest none of us have actually seen before, might not actually be very good?

Was Bigirimana not injured for quite some time? Armstrong should get the chance at least since I'm not gonna think Prem clubs will pay the big bucks for him just now. Vuckic was great at Rangers but hasn't quite cut it at Wigan

Don't think so.

I think he's seen as someone who got distracted and stopped concentrating on the football, - it's a real shame for him - he looked a real top prospect 4 years ago.

Shame you won't be visiting us this time in the Championship, it was fun last time.

Though we didn't enjoy the away trip until we joined you in the Prem!

The Championship is gonna be a hell of a division next season, though it usually is pretty good!

Mitrovic - £13m
Wijnaldum - £15m
Thauvin - £12m
Toney - £500k
Mbemba - £8m
Shelvey - £12m
Saivet - £4m
Townsend - £12m
Doumbia - Loan

Townsend the only one who is actually an improvement on players we didn't want. - Ivan Toney probably the third best signing on that list but because he didn't play shite and was cheap.

Hoping to get some away games - actual Northern teams too.

Chances of Rafa leaving?

Can't really see him staying on standing in the dugout at fekking Burton. At least you avoid MK Dons and Notlob since they're our problem now

Doubt any one is stupid enough to hire him tbh.

I think there needs to be general football boycott of Blackpool - home and away fans need to stop going completely,

Oh come on are you still prattling on about Pardew? He was a fucking spent force and getting rid of him was a good idea. As much as buying lamentable cowards was a mistake, it was not getting rid of him - more that replacing him with John Carver and McClaren was a fucking disaster.

18 months later and we're relegated. Winning about 4 games. - It's been a disaster since he left. It's clear he was holding the club together. He's not a world class manager by any means but he was willing to drop people and wouldn't of allowed the club to sleepwalk into danger the way it has.

McClaren was awful - but the only reason he was allowed to stay on so long was Charnley being desperate to prove his decision was correct and the fickle fan desperate not to be seen as fickle.

My hope is the relegation leads to a clear out - Charnley is sacked and replace by a chief exec. who actually listens to the manager - a manager allowed to make decisions, and the squad picked on form rather than on supposed ability. And the club is allowed to be rebuilt like it was last time until Charnley got his hands on it.

And despite that they're still more likeable than Newcastle. Weird.

True, I guess. I find Man City more likeable than Man Utd or Arsenal, depsite being funded by a state currently on human rights watch and being run by disgusting people.

Weird how some people want Sunderland to stay up. They played a nonce for a year ffs.

In an alternative universe, there's a protest against Pardew as a draw at Villa Park sees Newcastle slips to 12th. Why is he picking Sammy Ameobi instead of Gini Wijnaldum, being a major complaint as well as Mitrovic who has been 'Pardewed'.

What was his problem again, was he just a sexist or something?

I agree - if there's one thing to learn from this season it's that languid ability beats effort. The hottest of hot takes.

Imagine how good Leicester will be when they get rid of Kante and bring in the shelvenator next year.

Has anyone seen the Cabral case this week? - I can't believe how disgusting you have to be to be to be a tabloid writer or a barrister.

Cabral is some fucking no mark - so the papers try and rope in more famous footballers to make it into a scandal and attempt to sell more papers. And slut shame the women and discredit her?

Why do people constantly do this? Tear down a women who is claiming she's sexually assaulted for the benefit of some absolute no mark footballer - who no one cares about?

John Stones is a defensive genius - do some extravagant stuff and fuck that up occasionally - and people will view that as your defensive failures. When he also can't do the basics very well.

Hummels is definitely good - but he's not a top top player and I can't help but think playing for a fashionable club and national team, (in a position there's not much competition for) has made people think he's a lot better than he is. - Although I always thought he had the makings of a real top class DM.

He's more Gary Cahill than Rio Ferdinand or Sol Campbell imo.

Just try and win our games. - We can't influence Norwich or Sunderland. If we go down it will be deserved and stemming from being shite for 8 months.

Nine points might not be enough - 2 points might be.

Spurs thankfully should be out of the title race and Kane/Chadli/Dembele/Alli/Eriksen/Dier/Alderweireld/Vertonghen/Rose/Walker/Lloris will hopefully have one eye on the Euros.

Really impressed with Demarai Gray - looks very mature and good for a young player signed for not a lot.

Confusing why clubs seemed not fussed in the slightest in him Nathan Redmond and Dele Alli.
