No related to anyone who takes a banner. Can you imagine fully grown men, painting on a bedsheet the night before, or even paying presumably quite a bit of money to get one produced? Amazing when you think about it. Alternatively A4 fans and iPad wankers may be even worse...

In other news anyone who takes a banner to a football match, is an absolute prick. Desperate to get on Sky and MOTD.

Yep, think this would be a big issue. And I doubt that the really top clubs would be interested in having B teams.

The 'fans' turned on the local media, for not being anti-Ashley enough. (Turning on the local media seems to be quite common). NCJ then got fucking desperate and started printing as much anti-Ashley bollocks as possible.
NCJ are a joke though, they're completely malleable. They spent most of the past 20 years writing what they were told, by Keegan, Hall and Sheppard. I think their main issue is Ashley doesn't want to use the local media as an unofficial mouthpiece for the club, ergo their sports section is completely redundant, and now they are seemingly attempting to ride the tiger as long as possible.
Also hilariously ironic how the 'fans' protest groups, get annoyed whenever a journalist has an alternative viewpoint. "They don't understand the club, they don't realise how hard it is being 9th etc."
And don't forget the club went hard on the Telegraph when they printed a story about Newcastle fans being anti-semetic. And now they're lying about Pardew saying 'fans are disloyal"

Issue with the PL is that there is so much money involved, it seems to be getting very hard for young players (who aren't exceptional) to break through. For example it would be easy for a PL club to sign back up players for a couple of £M rather than risk fielding an inexperienced young player.
This system will also allow big clubs to have more control over the development of young players, ie forge chemistry between young players, and set a club playing style, where as with loans there is always a risk of a young player wasting 6 months with an unsuccessful loan spell.
Not saying I agree with the proposals or think it will necessarily be a success, but resisting on the grounds of tradition seems absolutely idiotic.
All the traditionalists shed tears whenever a small club goes out of business, I'm sure.

Their views on B-sides.
The B-side league seems to me the most inoffensive suggestion?
Surely for Nuneaton etc. the idea of playing against Man Utd-B would be the biggest game of the year, playing against the likes of Pogba and Januzaj? Certainly different from playing Hyde or Solihull Moors.
That said would Man Utd be too happy about exposing their players into a horrible league, with less protection?

Remember when people were mocking Kinnear for signing an injured player in Loic Remy. Pardew was managing with his 'hands tied', Kinnear was set to step up after Pardew lost a couple of games. And Kinnear was being wiley in signing an injured player, so that Pardew wouldn't get to use him and get sacked. Cabaye was on 'strike' etc.
Robson was sacked because the club was sliding and the fans wanted him gone. And tbh 5th 10 years ago probaby equals 8th now.
Now there is the big 6 + Everton and Southampton look very good. Back then it was the big 4, Newcastle followed by o'Leary's Villa, Charlton, Bolton, Fulham, Birmingham, Middlesbrough, Southampton, Portsmouth. Not exactly the same standards.

The club has said several times the cup is not the priority, but that does not equate to not taking it seriously, but the club went for it against Stevenage, Brighton (1) and Cardiff, Hull and Arsenal. They were just rubbish. Brighton (2) and possibly WBA in the Championship (I didn't go) was the only time Newcastle didn't go for it.
Sun have went with 'hundreds'. I would estimate 100 on 60, 1,000 on 69?
Can anyone actually explain to me why this season, was worse than last?, or the Souness era, or the Roeder era, or the Allardyce/Keegan season or The Gullit and Dalglish eras, or the late Robson era, or the several years spent in the second tier, and yo-yoing?

The club have communicated their strategy several times, about how they aren't going to spending big, 1 or 2 signings a season max, invest in youth and promote from within. And the league is the priority. You don't have to like it or agree with it, but they have seemingly been open and honest in telling you what the strategy is. (They even said in January they were unlikely to buy), and the target at the minute is a top10 finish, presumably to re-consolidate after last years setback.
This is a statement agreed upon by True Faith, The Mag, and NUST; It is a lie. They're clearly trying to emotionally manipulate people.
A top10 finish is clearly more than 'survival'. And the inclusion of the word 'try' is clearly there to suggest the club aren't even achieving it, ie the club is in course for relegation. They are 9th. There is a clear difference between priotitising the league, and attempting to get knocked out on purpose. They're lying. Newcastle got knocked out of the league cup in extra time by the eventual winners, and definitely went to win against Cardiff in the FA Cup.
How do you plan to win a cup? Besides winning it. Total bollocks. And the use of 'dreams' - again an attempt at emotionally manipulating people. Man City almost certainly didn't prioritise the League Cup, I'm sure they'd rather have the league or CL, same with Arsenal.
Obviously Wigan and Hull have shown, little clubs can do it if they really go for it, that's why they put out really strong teams such as;
Harper, Rosenior, Figueroa, Quinn, McShane, Faye, Boyd, Meyler, Proschwitz, McLean, Nagy (3 regular starters?)
Politt, Figueroa, Boyce, Stam, Golobart, Gomez, Espinoza, Fyvie, Henrique, McManaman, Boselli (2 starters?)
I wish Newcastle could have an extended run in Europe, perhaps culminating in a run to the quarters before being knocked out by a very good Benfica side. Anyway I'll reiterate Dalglish and Gullit were sacked a few games after cup defeats. and were seemingly dead men walking by the time the final came around.
On a sidenote, I read in a blog, that Newcastle's revenues are lower than you'd expect due to deals which lower costs. No idea if its true.

I suspect there's a considerable number - the silent majority - although perhaps not a majority. At HT in the Swansea game, a banner was unfurled, and there seemed to be no interest whatsoever.
Basically the thing, I look for in a football team, is I want to watch the football, the current 'regime' seem to be keeping it relatively affordable. And they haven't done anything daft, like sell that city-centre stadium.
However all of the protests and 'movements' - have never offered any sort of coherent argument, to why a change is necessary and there methods never make any sense.
- What is the point in walking out - apart from to get exposure, and be patronised in the media? - Somehow exposure will lead to the club being sold, it's daft.
- Any potential billionaire out there, looking to spunk some money, will decide it's not worth it, taking on a militant fan base that gets annoyed when the club don't buy any players.
- 'Hit him where it hurts - his wallet' - again doesn't actually make any sense. boycott SportsDirect and buying drinks etc. from the ground. Unfortunately Ashley would just close the stores, and make staff redundant. He would suffer slightly, the staff would suffer much greater.
- Boycott games, boycott all sponsors associated with NUFC - Commercial revenue shrinks. And then what? Newcastle would then just be even less able to afford to buy players and become a slightly smaller club?
I'm very tired, of these boring cunts, telling me I'm not a 'real fan'. They don't represent my views and can fuck off. They're just desperate for their 15 minutes of fame. And they lie considerably more than the club do.

There was nothing in the first one, Giroud nudges Sissoko first, and Sissoko doesn't do that much. Besides you never get freekicks for that. Also I think Giroud might have been offside.
Sky didn't really show proper angles, or put the white line across but;
Look at Giroud and Williamson's feet
Also twitter search "How Ozil offside" Unbelievable

One of the articles posted seems to be Pardew blaming himself, whilst Charlton manager for making changes for a cup game.
Also what's with the fans obsession over Pardew exclusively using the Europa as an excuse;
AVB, Laudrup and Coyle, I'm sure could have used the Europa as an excuse, if they weren't all sacked before the knockout rounds. And even Pulis was gotten rid of following a Europa season, with only Brendan Rogers being retained, in the last couple of seasons, and Liverpool are certainly much better this season, when not in the Europa League.

Headlines aren't really reflective of things people actually say., and none of those headlines actually include a quote. Today he had a golden chance to try and completely blame the officials and didn't.
He took responsibility for the defeat last week, and the week before. And this week rather than attempt to deflect blame, Pardew himself brought up this was the 6th defeat in a row. Pardew excuses is almost completely fan made, as a go to criticism.
I don't like Pardew, and there is fucking countless legitimate reasons to want him sacked. But excuses isn't one of them.

Also amazing Newcastle can simultaneously play with a high line whilst sitting deep.
Fair play to Neville, for pointing most of the blame for the first goal should go to the players who missed the header, rather than Sissoko, although ruined his goodwill for being horrendously patronising towards Newcastle fans.

Thank you. Why do people believe this and believe that luck will even it self out in the exact same way.
I remember a couple of seasons ago
Larsson handled the ball on the line against Newcasle (Newcastle won 1-0)
Gosling handled in the box against Everton (Newcastle won 2-1)
Everton were awarded a ghost penalty (Osman airkicked and fell over with no Sunderland player near him) (Everton won 1-0)
Luck has evened itself out but;
Newcastle gained (+2) points
Everton gained (+1) point
Sunderland lost (-1) point

Fucking hell. I hope Steve Wigley is still on the payroll at Southampton as well.
Anyway Southampton could be fucked next year, even if they keep their players. But it must be a wory if Shaw/Lovren/Lallana and Rodrigues have there heads turned.
