The Premier League has reached the half way mark for us and we're still in with a chance of winning the title this year. We've been really good at times and to be fair we've done superb to keep pace at the top given at one stage we'd a shocking injury list that at it's peak saw 10 first team players sidelined. We were hit hardest at the back and that eventually saw us conceding more goals. Those draws against Brighton and Crystal Palace were obviously deeply disappointing given their position on the Premier League ladder.

We've drawn Birmingham City at Old Trafford in the FA Cup third round and after coming second in our Champions League group we've been handed a tough game against Bayern Munich in the next round. Thankfully the first leg is at Old Trafford so if we can keep a clean sheet and take a lead to Munich we've a chance of progressing.

Thats a real bargain at £5m!

Yeah considering his ability and potential it's absolutely ridiculous how cheap we've bought him for.

Really enjoying your career, K3VO. Keep up the good work!

Cheers lad

What a goal from Phillips! 45 yarder.

Terrific goal, goal of the season contender.

West Brom scored a very good goal against Stoke just before.

Have $10 on Crystal Palace, Schalke and West Brom.

Schalke are losing at the moment away to Hertha Berlin.

Have a 12 fold on with $5 on it containing Monaco, Bayern Leverkusen, Valencia, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, Napoli and Real Madrid.

EDIT: Schalke are level, they'll win now

Bullshit call by the referee in the Manly v Storm game tonight when it was locked at 6-6.

Should have checked a try with the video referee, didn't and it turned out to be a clear cut try.

Manly went on to lead 24-6 at the break and it eventually finished 24-22.

Oh wow! Returns?

$337.99

With that many teams it's highly unlikely, but they're all at home so maybe lady luck will shine on me this weekend

With a return to Champions League football on the horizon I wanted to strengthen the squad in the one place we've struggled at times. I've brought in two world class centre backs according to pretty much all my scouts in Marc Bartra and Jeison Murillo. The fee for Bartra looks quite large, but it's spread out over four years so it's not that bad. The fee for Murillo was up front and I'm glad we've acquired the Columbian international.

The arrival of those two signalled the exit for Chris Smalling who has always been behind Phil Jones, Jonny Evans and Daley Blind so his chances of first team football were slim to none. Probably our biggest signing was definitely that of Brazilian midfielder Francisco Carlos from Real Madrid given how little we paid for him. He's definitely good enough to play straight away and he's tipped by my backroom staff to reach a 5 star rating.

After two years without Champions League football we'll finally make our return to the biggest European club competition. It went right down to the wire in the end and we pipped Everton on goal difference on the final day of the Premier League season. As you can see Chelsea ran away with the title and I'm starting to think it'll be impossible to break Jose Mourinho's stranglehold on the competition. They've been dominant and this season were even better than before. Manchester City finished astonishingly in 8th and Manuel Pellegrini was sacked.

We were more than unfortunate to go out of the Europa League against Borussia Dortmund as we conceded in the 92nd minute in Germany. We then absolutely battered them at Old Trafford, but after failing to take any of our six clear cut chances we conceded with 15 minutes to go and the Bundesliga side advanced on away goals.

I thought it was a shock. Even losing players and the DCE saga honestly couldn't see the Eels winning in that fashion. Perhaps a narrow win, but not so convincingly like that. Queensland teams are in major fucking strife this year I think, can't see the Broncos or Titans making the top 8 and the Cowboys as per usual will be dependant on JT dragging their arses across the line. I think Rabittohs could go back to back.

Your home form is almost perfect, so if you can avoid defeats in the away games, then top 4 should follow.

Yeah it's been good, but not as good as I'd like.

We should have beaten Newcastle United and Southampton.

They're the type of games that could potentially cost us.
