But why would someone who was unarmed and wasn't up to anything interesting jump on an armed guard for no reason?

If you believe what someone who's been accused of murder with no witnesses has said in court, then yes that's what happened.

Florida has a law which means you can shoot someone if you feel like you're in danger and get off scot free. I don't Zimmerman saw the black guy and thought "I'm going to have him" but it seems to me like he saw someome he thought looked a bit dangerous (not that I'm accusing him of being racist but...) then panicked and shot him. By the laws of the state, he thought his life was in danger so he shot him.
The fact that he was actually unarmed and there was no kind of struggle makes it seem a bit weird but in this case, Zimmerman didn't actually do anything illegal. But there's a stupid law in Florida that allows this kind of thing to happen. And it will happen again, no doubt. It probably already has.

And smells like vodka and death

Eh. It smells more like the Kahlua actualyl. Though the overtones of vodka are certainly present.

Discreet drinking 101.
I just went to the shops, bought kahlua, vodkaand chocolate milk. Pour it into a mug, 50% vodka, 20% kahlua and 30% chocolate milk. Stir.
Tasty alcoholic beverage which looks like tea.

Not true.

Southern Rugby players tend to be cunts yes, gets better the far North you go.

Yeah, that sounds pretty accurate actually.

Daenerys Targaryen: an abridged storyline.
Season 1:
Wah. My brothers a dick,
Wah. A barbarians going to destroy my vagina,
Wah. I actually loved him and now he's dead because I'm a fucking moron.

Season 2:
Wah. My people are hungry.
Wah. My dragons are hungry.
Wah. Qarth.

Season 3:
Wah. Slaves.
Actually, let's leave it there. She buys the unsullied, then turns around and killed the people who sold her them. Fair enough, they're slave traders but why not just be honest and kill the slave traders first and free the unsullied after that? Then, she's freeing all the slaves and then says "oh, you don't have to come with me, but what happens if they don't go with her. They're in the middle of a desert and everyone else is dead. They have no choice. That's what she does, she roams around "freeing people" who thinks she's the tits because she has dragons. But they're not free. They're not called slaves anymore but they pretty much still are. But she has her head so far up her own arse and doesn't realise that she's couldn't rule her way out of a plastic bag. For the good of the realm. People would starve.

She's like Catelyn. Everything bad that happens to her is her own faults but she acts like the victim. Catelyn is a whole different subject though, that woman...
Ours is the fury etc.

Speaking of black athletes, the Boston Bruins have signed Jarome Iginla, and it's for real this time.

PA is undoubtedly celebrating that somewhere.

I'm just interested in seeing how him and Lucic get along after that playoff series.

That's not even a horror film. It's a film in which things happen and then at the end people get kidnapped and later they get killed. There's not even a morale or anything, the same thing happens to both of them and there's no real struggle.

Anyway, I saw a few films. World War Z isn't actually as bad as people make out. It's kind of a different type of zombie film from what people are used to. No blood seems like a very odd decision, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it's so they wouldn't take away from the story but it was probably because they wanted to keep the audience rating down. It works if you don't go into it wanting to watch a film about running away from zombies, it has that but the point is more about figuring out how to combat them. Not the best film I've seen all year, but people have been pretty harsh about it. Also, taping magazines to your forearms so you can bash away zombies without getting bitten. That's smart. Well player Mr Pitt.

Also saw Juno. It's a nice film, very well presented with strong characters and it's just very pleasing. Ultimately not much happens, but there's a problem, something good happens, something bad happens and then there's a happy ending. Sometimes that's enough. I guess you'd call it a date movie.

Finally saw the new Silent Hill film. It's in a weird place. There's a lot which doesn't make sense unless you know a bit about Silent Hill, but then it takes some license with the game story line, adds characters, changes characters so it's not really fan servicey. Strong beginning and end but weak middle I suppose. Slightly below the first film, but I didn't get bored or anything so whatever.

Oh, and I saw Army of Darkness for the first time.

That would've been quite an interesting watch if she wasn't there. Theo would make a good point. wee man would start to respond to it and then bitchtits would start shouting him down. Don't think she actually made any relevant points in the whole segment.

Chiarelli reckons he should be able to make into the top 4, but he signed him so he would say that. Apparently, we may be getting Jagr back in. Could do a job until we find someone more long term I suppose. Good locker room guy for obvious reasons.

Don't we have 9mil cap space now due to Savard being injured? But look at it this way, Seguin was never going to be on the first line with Bergeron being around and he's not the kind of player for the merlot line, that's very much Campbells position. So that leaves two places for centres, the 2nd and 3rd lines. We have Krejci who is a very good player, is loyal to the club, professional and fits the Boston style. Then we've got Chris Kelly who's a proven performer as well as the alternate captain. He's played as well, if not better, than Seguin and is on a smaller contract. We've also got Soderberg in there and our prospects in the P-Bruins

If I look at our top 5 centres, taking Seguin out of it doesn't fill be with dread. Gaining Eriksson makes me happier than losing Seguin. The prospects we signed are good players who were breaking into the first team at Dallas. This is me being optimistic though. I could of course be proven wrong but I've watched most of the Bruins games this season and Seguin hasn't impressed me as much as a lot of our other players. I know he's young but still. I have enough faith in the the owners and what Chiarelli has said to think that he hasn't been traded for no reason.

And $5 million cap space. We needed to get rid of centres to bring in some wingers. If the reports are true about Seguin having a party lifestyle, those have been going on basically since he joined. You can't say he didn't influence the team too negatively because we didn't get to the final because of him. He'd been on the third line and largely anonymous. If we had some better quality wingers, we might've won the thing.
Eriksson seems like a really good player who should be able to add something really good to the team. If we need to get rid of our big name youngster for more depth where it's needed then so be it. Even if you disagree, you can't call this a loss until you see what we do with the cap space.

Because he's had a big falling out with the management of his attitude. Apparently, it all came to a head in our playoff series with Toronto. It seems he was going out drinking before vital playoff games and he showed up to practice 3 days in a row wearing the game clothes. He does have potential, but he's not taking his job seriously and has actually shown signs of regression. We also had 7 centres (plus Savard) who were all looking for a place in the team. Seguin and Pevs were playing the worst out of them all. They've basically traded a player who's a bit of a risk in a position we've got a lot of depth in for a proven player in a position we have pretty bad depth in. Plus a bunch of prospects and 5 mil cap space. Losing Seguin actually doesn't hurt at all. It might sting in the future, but it doesn't hurt us now.

Yeah, it seems like a pretty good deal, I mean Seguin was on a pretty big contract so we've freed up some cap space too. Pevs was a strong player, but we do have loads of centres so this means we can keep Kelly I assume. Seguin is a good players with potential but something of a loose cannon. I'm not exactly sad to see him go but it could come back to bite.
