Yes. I was like 8 when I played the second game so I loved it. Unfortunately, it's not the kind of game that ages well. The puzzle/adventure aspect stands up reasonably well but the story was hamfisted to say the least and the graphics, like a lot of the games of that era, look awful.

For time, however, the graphics were solid (this came about around the same time as Tomb Raider 2 and Turok), there was an open world which was pretty huge and the AI was pretty advanced. I mean, if you look at action games from the time, everything just sort of runs at you. In this, characters can have completely different reactions to you depending on how you're behaving.

It was a good game for the time, but it's very dated.

How did you get on with LBA? Used to love those games.

I was kind of talking about the book and film at the same time there.
The film doesn't have gore in it particularly., it just seems a bit pointless. I get the intent behind it but I don't get the purpose... look I'm trying to make sense but it's not working. It's been a long day. I'm sorry. All I'm saying is I liked Rules of Attraction and Less Than Zero more.

I think Boston have every right to feel smug about that. He agreed terms with Boston, there's a picture somewhere of him wearing a Boston jersey, and then at the last second he reneged on the deal and went somewhere else. It was a complete dick thing to do and, according to Lucic anyway, it's part of why we were so determined to be Pens. But. That's Lucic.

American Psycho though as a film/book/concept makes me feel unwell. I'm in a weird position with horror and gore. I can watch a horror film and I'll enjoy it. Put a shit slasher film on and I'll turn off. I'm not saying American Psycho is a shit slasher film, I admire Ellis and an author and whatever and I completely get the point, but when you take away everything, the film really doesn't have any redeeming features. It's about a guy who kills people in extravagant fashion for no reason. There's no real suspense, no real mystery, nothing like that. He just kills them, Then goes to a cocktail party or some shit. I get the idea behind it but it's not for me.

He's generally solid but when he has a bad game, you know about it. I've heard that rumour too, not sure how much there is in it.

I'm not happy he's gone, he was a great manager. He lost a lot of good will because he slagged off the club and then tried to put himself in the shop window. As time went on, it became more and more clear that he thought he was bigger than the club. The final straw in the eyes of a lot of the fans was when he said he thought the team didn't get promoted because they'd hit the roof. This is from someone who kept talking about long terms plans and being in the Premier League in x amount of years. It showed him as incredibly dishonest and he lost a lot of favour. There was also an interview with Vicente in the local rag which confirmed a lot of the things people were worried about with him. That he was egocentric, didn't care about his players wellbeing, didn't respect the club or it's fans. This coming from Vicente who has been nothing but a class act since he joined us.

He's being sacked for breach of contract and it's all being dealt with internally. Noone outside the club knows what he's done but it all sounds pretty serious. I think he's a great manager and he's got us playing some great football, but if what's been said is true then he's not someone I really want around the club.

As for the business last night, Talks have been ongoing for the last week and he visited players houses Sunday to give his farewells. He knew and he's used this as an excuse to turn people against the club because he knows the club (a) wouldn't be able to reply to the same kind of audience or with the same impact and (b) couldn't say anything real for legal reasons. If you examine it for any length of time, he looks like a complete weasel but other clubs fans won't do that because why would they care?

Misconduct and breach of contract. So no, but something serious. They didn't sack him after all, this has been going on for about a month. They've held tribunals and all sorts. It's all been done by the book.

Good. The BBC have completely stitched us up and made us look like a complete joke. Now, I have no idea why we decided to announce the decision before he was due to be on TV. Maybe he threatened to release some details the club didn't want released? Maybe he threatened to announce he had been sacked before the club did? No idea. The only thing we do know about this whole thing is the statement from the club. The first line of the statement reads:

Gus Poyet has been informed today by Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club's internal disciplinary panel that his employment has been terminated with immediate effect.

This was posted an hour before he was on TV. Why they couldn't have done this earlier in the day or waited until tomorrow, I couldn't say. But there we are.

i bet you think I'm going to sit here and type a big long thing defending transgender people but I'm not. I know a few people who are trans and they're all lovely people, one of them is one of my best friends. There are times when she's told me about some of her problems and how hard stuff has been and I wish she could just be given a vagina but that's not how it works obviously. She doesn't use it as a way of getting attention, she hates it when people find out, she just feels like she was in born into the wrong body.

I'm sure 90% of people go into it with a good attitude but fucking tumblr. It really does that the piss. Maybe it's everyone elses fault. Maybe they've been discriminated so much that they feel like they need to complain about every little non issue so they feel like they're winning something. But. Maybe if they didn't issue out death threats to cis people just because they weren't trans. Maybe if they completely ignore arguements for the same reason. Maybe if they didn't shit on everyone when they try to be nice to them or if they're trying to learn more about the issue. It's a club for some people and that's stupid.
