The patch will need installed to a different file location if you play FM via Epic Games, as I use Steam don’t know what the equivalent location is but perhaps someone else can advise?

You’ll need to use the FM21 Resource Archiver to extract them, they are kept in the graphics.fmf file in the FM21 data folder.

The real question here is, how you made it work with the Epic Games Store version?

The default fm.xml file is kept here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2021\data\game\ads.fmf however, I have been unable to extract it with the resource archiver so it might be locked, from what I can remember this has been the case with the past few FM's, I have no idea why SI no longer want us to access this file but I would guess it is something to do with the bidstack ads coding.

I first have to finish level 8 leagues before I think of doing any level 9. However North West Counties were made last season, and most of kits are used this season again. Winsford is reusing last season kits if I'm not mistaken

Which leagues did you have in mind?

Have you modified the XML file in any way? Having tested both xml files Ligue 1 works as intented

There are no static adboard for Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. Or did I set something wrong?

No, this setting does not affect the match engine

I can maybe produce some static ads for Paris FC

Thanks Mons, that is indeed the issue, SI have moved some files around, I'll produce soem bespoke ads for Ligue 2 over the next week

As per this post, The football manager adboards are loaded as a fall back when the game is unable to find the required graphics, this means you have missing files. The patches need to be installed in order e.g. V1.0 -> V.1 -> V.2
