@Benjamin222, in sources like this where the green from the kit or the grass is reflected onto the face, we find that the final cut looks much better if this is removed. You can do so very easily by downloading an action file from the first or second link of this post (depends if you use Photoshop or Photopea) which replicates the action shown in the below video in a single-click 😉

Edit: Also, I'm not sure how you've managed to reduce the image sharpness quite so much from the original source, but keep an eye out for it.

do you have an action key to remove green for photopea as well? i only found the basic keys for photopea. or can they be used for both programs?

Not sure how useful this is - perhaps someone else might be able to figure out what I haven't. While looking for Werder Bremen youth sources I found their website's URL structure for player pictures, but unfortunately not the Filenames themselves.
The URL for the U21 team photo for example is:
https://www.werder.de/fileadmin/Fussball/Junioren/U21/Saison_22_23/SVW_U21_22-23.jpg
“U21” can be changed to U23/U19/U17/etc, and images for news and youth matches are located in the same level.
However for individual player portraits, the Filenames of the small previews on the squad page have been randomised so you can't get the full size from them. Normally when a “typo3temp” CDN is used it means you can just remove “csm_” and the ten-letter key (e.g. "69ddb00428", possibly also the bit before it e.g. “-fp-390-465-0-0_” as well) from the filename to grab the full-size.

I also tried any possible way to get these HQ versions, as i would love to add them to the game. My only remaining idea is to ask a local photographer 😀

@BramNUFC he is unmade and no public figure, so from my pov i would have preferred a cut of good quality from 2016 rather than no cut at all 🙂

a better cut of a 14-year old player, maybe. this cut is two years newer. i know the player, he looks nowhere near today as in the cut from 12.07.

therefore the cut is not just "old", it is an old cut.

There were a few other cuts with white backgrounds which I fixed, but those two must have escaped my attention. As for 116458, I have no idea what happened there, possibly a problem with its upload. I'll be sure to fix all 3 in 12.11
