In all fairness that's how you're trying to play by working the ball wide but rather than fall to his head the ball keeps landing at his feet. For me though both teams are crying out for one of their central midfielders (much more so Utd) to actually break forward rather than just play it safe and very easy standing still passing the ball from side to side. I've noticed it in every Utd game i've seen this season and if they had that player it would make a massive difference.

This, 2 attempts for them and 1 for us says it all

I've not looked at the subs benches but why the fuck is Lucas playing.

Henderson out, Coutinho suspended, Allen out. But hes actually been alright if a little clumsy at times. Glad he didnt go Beskitas as he can be a decent player, plus Milner Henderson and Lucas would be some bus to park.

Bit of a slow game atm. Fellainis hardly been bad, no idea why hes getting the blame when youve created like one good opening when it pinned to him to Herrera. Youre passing it round our box for ages but not actually doing anything with it. While we seem happy to take a draw. Youre defending pretty decent as we have no time on the ball at all but our passing has been shocking and not sure what Mignolet is doing sometimes.

Also whats the Bundesliga pace like? Dont watch it enough to call but Fermino looks so slow at times and so little creativity. Expected more from him. Also Cans very frustrating.

Starting what looks like possible 2 up top (unless Ings is on the wing) is a plus

Lovren going up against Fellaini on the other hand

Yeah him, Tao and Hugh Carthy are all pretty good. Tao's a mate of mine, he'll be a pretty special rider when he turns Pro, got taken out on the hilltop finish though so lost a bunch of time.

Ahh that's pretty cool, Tao looks a very decent prospect as well, his 3rd place at Roubaix Juniors looks very promising. Yeah main peleton took an absolute age yesterday lol

I've been playing both and pre-ordered both but will probably sell PES when Fifa comes. I bought last year's PES after playing this years demo and kind of frustrating at times. Edited a bit to have a play at career mode but just can't seem to get into matches as much and everything just seems to drag a bit compared to Fifa. Gameplay is good in bits, eg passing is a lot better and can pick out a nice through ball or something but tackling, clashes and animations are a bit shit.

Plus FIFA's game modes shit on PES' to be fair, I tried myClub but it's not as fun as Ultimate team. The new draft mode they're bringing in is pretty cool too.

That could easily be true without it being our fuck up.

We can't force Madrid to bid for our players, if they wanted to engage in brinkmanship then fine. But if they didn't leave themselves enough time for both parties to complete a transfer (and bare in mind that by virtue of the deal they offered we were having to negotiate with a keeper that, by all accounts, was reluctant to move) then they've got no one to blame but themselves.

We had the exact same thing happen when we went to sign Contreo from them with approximately 3 seconds left of the transfer window. I don't think we put out a statement blaming everybody else but ourselves in that instance, we knew we'd fucked it.

He can't really afford not to be playing if he wants to make Spain's Euro squad.

As far as I understand it, van Gaal just kept him out till the window closed, hell be back in the squad for sure. Probably what a lot of United fans wanted in the end, I can see him going in January but it gives you time to replace him properly.

On a second note, how come Valdes isnt playing? Surely hes better than Romero? I legitimately thought he left you guys till someone mentioned hes still at United yesterday

You can look at it like that, but then there is the other way where Utd had a player that clearly didn't want to be there coming to the end of his contract. Had it of gone through yesterday it would have been a great bit of business getting a few quid plus a new keeper too. But now they're left with a player that doesn't wanna play who will now leave at the end of the season for free, not forgetting they've gotta somehow get by with Romero in goal all season.

I guess we'll never know the truth but IF Utd had offered De Gea as soon as he told them he didn't wanna play then all this would have been avoided, though of course Madrid could just as easily made a offer a few weeks back rather than the final day. Imo though overall Utd have certainly came off the worst from the whole fuck up.

De Gea will go back in goal for sure

Had 5 quid on Swansea, Werder Bremen, Negredo to Score and Both teams to score in Sevilla game, let down big money by one team again /o\
