Yeah first thing I said was that we were also very cautious too lose, lost count of the times we'd go backwards rather than forwards. Also the save from Can was very very impressive, Coutinho one was good but could see that one from a while back.

Like I said earlier we lacked the quality in attack, whether that was through nerves or whatever, I don't know. Playing Sturridge may have been a mistake as well, he's a good player but he was a waste in that game.

It's lovely to see people STILL will slate Mourinho for not letting their teams beat his.

Oh bore off. Clearly if he set up to play he would have got spanked, but it's not exactly 'the Manchester United' way? Plus obviously people will get frustrated to see a team sit back so deep to just frustrate us and get a point rather than show ambition and go for a win. Hey we even got beat by Burnley so we're not exactly unbeatable.

But yeah, kudos to Mourinho for coming here and getting a point with about all those big summer signings.. Even LVG beat us

Yeah but you clearly came to frustrate and draw / nick a goal somehow, rather than get a win. The few times you went forwards, Rashford was causing Milner all sorts of problems, but most of the game him and 8 others were on the edge of your area. Herrera was good yeah, but our lack of quality didn't make it as hard for him as it could have been.

United put up an absolute masterclass in defending for the first 55-60 minutes.

Masterclass? Sheer numbers if anything. 9-1 formation, even Rashford, who was skinning James Milner every time was getting wasted by sitting in his own box most of the game.

On the other hand, we were clearly more afraid to lose it than risk winning it, if there wasn't a safe option 9/10 then they would go backwards. Coupled with the fact when we did go forward a bit everyone's final touch / pass was diabolical it created a very shit game. But I guess we learned from when Mourinho parked the bus with Chelsea then beat us 2-0, could have easily lost that game on the counter if we tried to force it.

Glad to see you're still a miserable cunt

They'll slowly progress with Journey mode I'd imagine in the next 2-3 years.

You'll be able to have your own player in the game and it'll be a lot more in depth and reactive to your choices.

So Be a Pro ?

It's a nice gimmick really but think it'll get boring pretty quickly.

Like I said I'd rather they improve some of the bullshit of the past games (which tbf according to my experience with the demo and beta they have).

PS: One thing I really liked about one of the PES a few years back with their Be a Legend is you did a trial match, then did B team matches before playing for the A team. Why did that get thrown out the window?

I played the beta, the demo seems a little more polished and does actually play well. You can actually create some nice moves as players seem to make good runs and passing (especially through balls which were fucked last year) seem to work. They finally found a good balance between pace and strength as well, if you position yourself well and use it wisely your Walcott can now outpace John Terry.. Disagree with the setpieces though, but that's probably cause I don't know how to use it and pens are completely fucked.. Also a bit of pinball at times but seems good so far

Yeah I agree that it fucked you in terms of their fullbacks then getting forward and swarming the midfield. Pisses me off how some media is making Guardiola out as some genius by asking his fullbacks to go forward and centre and wingers to stay out wide, when they'll get smashed by a team with good wingers and high pressing (ironically I want to see us play them see if they keep the system.. ). Also they seem to switch off / struggle as the games go on, go 2-0 up against you and West Ham and almost collapse. Suppose it's good they still bring the win through

Mourinho got his lineup all wrong, which you cannot do against a team of City's quality - and he'll know he made a mistake. Lingard was clearly unfit and Mkhitaryan was incredibly nervous on his first start. When we went 4-3-3 in the second half we played far better, Mourinho usually plays 4-3-3 against Pep (he learnt that after being thrashed 5-0 as Madrid against Barca) so I don't know why he didn't start like that. Imagine if we started with a front three of Rashford, Zlatan and Martial.

Oh and don't get me started on Rooney again. Our captain losing his head after 30 minutes is just wonderfully depressing, woeful once again.

Obviously the game could have been a lot different if Zlatan took his chances towards the end of the first half and if we were rewarded a penalty when Bravo went studs up on Rooney. But then again it could have been a lot different if City took more of their chances in that dominant first 40 minutes. Regardless of our second half performance City fully deserved the win.

Would have still been 2-0 down, if not more, also for all the Blind blaming, Pogba was poor defensively and one to point the finger at as well.

Need a new 1TB hard drive for the laptop as my one failed. Anyone recommend any brands/sites? Last one was a samsung hd from a Lenovo laptop. Could do with something with slightly longer warranty as this went after 1 year..

Same City performance as against West Ham, absolutely blew United away then lost concentration and could have easily lost that. Good game though.

Hendersons nowhere near as bad as some people make out.

He's also not as good as some Liverpool fans make out either.

Once he realises hes not Gerrard hell be a very good player.
