Might be a bit early / late to say this but Ibra could well win United the title.

Apparently the initial bid we rejected was only initial 23 mil, with the rest as a clause - if Palace qualify for CL, Benteke plays over 75% games and scores 20 goals

Jess Ennis fucked me over on a 10 fold Olympic bet for 400 quid, and Becky James has just done me for a 7 fold and 80 quid.

Fucking women.

Meh not that bad actually. Although yeah Pogba in a midfield two might be a little wasted. But feels you've got some cover for most positions.

So is Martial now a winger?

So where's he playing him? Up front with Ibra, with Mikh and Martial on wings?

Mkhatarian, Ibra, Martial front three, with Rooney, Pogba and Schneiderlin/Herrera behind would work, no?

That the best you can do? Even Carroll would have done better

Also we're not paying £100m.

Yeah weak effort like, you could have expected 'We didn't sign any dross from Southampton, they're all class players, especially that Ricky Lambert fella, he worked out well' from me.

Fair play to United tbf, feel the transfer is a way of showing their intent and that their still about. Was half doubting their pulling power with the last few years of Moyes & LVG, but they've gone out and broke the transfer fee record and also got in Ibra. Buying their way to the title Crazy fees about these days though.

I don't think Klopp has anywhere near the pull Liverpool fans hoped/expected he would.

If you look at his transfers at Dortmund though thats not really surprising, it was always a case of getting more out of players than was expected rather than attracting players that Dortmund should not have been able to and the signs have been reasonably encouraging with your lot on that front already. If he can get Mane to perform consistently he'll be one of the best players in the league, I reckon. Similarly, whilst I don't think Wijhnaldum is a particularly inspiring signing, I don't think anyone questions his ability, more his attitude.

The big problem is that Dortmund continued to sign those sort of players after Klopp left, whereas your transfers so far strike suspiciously of the rubbish ones you made under Brendan. I guess we'll find out this season how much of it was down to Klopp at Dortmund and how much was down to the team of people tasked with signing players. Were they simply very good at spotting hidden talent that would have come good anywhere or was it down to Klopp working miracles with them? We'll see.

He's deffinetly got more of a pull than Rodgers had. And I meant more his former players, like Goatze.
I don't necessarily dissagree with you but almost 60 million for Mane and Naldum (if we sign him spelling his name is going to piss me off.. ) stinks a bit. Especially with some of the business done by others.

Was about to say Higuain isn't worth 50 million then I remembered we paid 34 for Mane.

And Mahrez isn't good enough for Barca or Real

Unlimited data at a reasonable price, plus when I do get good signal I can stream things better than my friend's wifi.. If you're saying they have good coverage in your area, you're grand

I don't get any 3 signal in the house, and lose it in places. But would still reccomend it over any of the others.

Seems like no in between ground for Ibra, either massively underrated or massively over hyped.

If you're challenging for the ball with your hands up in the air, you are deliberately holding them there knowing a ball can hit them, no matter whether it's to gain momentum or not.

Suarez was only protecting his face against Ghana tbf

No, but you're "deliberate" handball debate is extremely boring. If it hit him from two yards out and his hand is in a natural position than fair enough, but his own fault for having his hands up there.

Thats why it was given yeah.

I'd argue that thats not an unnatural position though. Players hands come up like that virtually every time they challenge for the ball in the air, its how you generate momentum and used as justification for people elbowing each other in the face all the time.

Piss off, it's a penalty, otherwise we might as well just start playing volleyball in the box
