Is there ever been anything that looked like more of a disaster than Benitez and Newcastle?

Benitez is always the 'fans' choice despite being everything Newcastle fans hate in a manager.

I think the one common thing about this whole situation is that the fans generally know fuck all.

But all seem to know way more than McClaren and Charnley which is the most worrying thing of all.

I think Benitez would be a great choice if we were guarenteed Premier League football next year, but is he likely to stay if we were in the Championship?

I'd take Moyes tbh - but would rather throw everything we can at persuading Benitez.

Aye, surely it comes with the territory of stepping inside a cage and beating 7 shades of shit out of someone that they're not going to be the nicest people around.

"Was going".. so you didn't?

McGregor is a special little talent, love the guy but it was a bad decision to let Diaz fight at 170 lbs. Especially on 2 weeks notice. He got some good shots in, 2nd round was just shot for shot really, but Diaz waz taking it well. People talking about McGregor fighting Lawler, but he'd get destroyed as he's actually a guy in shape compared to Diaz.

Nah, I did put it on.

I know fuck all about UFC

Aye, 4/1 was a great price I thought.

I don't follow UFC that much but I was talking to my mate and I said I was going to stick £20 on this Diaz fellow as the guy he was fighting had moved up quite a bit and he called me daft and said McGregor would kill him.

NOW WHO'S LAUGHING

I agree - Colback was more at fault he gave the ball away cheaply in a dangerous area. Shelvey still missed his tackle. Shelvey hides - he doesn't mark or tackle. His passing his often wayward, and is often extremely reluctant to go and receive the ball.

I agree he doesn't mark well but its not really his game as a playmaker - he makes more passes than anybody in our team so he's definitely not reluctant to go and recieve the ball.

And on average he makes more tackles per game than any other centre midfielder we have (including Tiote, which is baffling) but again it's not really his game. We need a proper defensive midfielder (not Saivet) alongside him and we need to let him create chances for us because he's good at that.

A good pass. It's about all he did right in that game.

Let Gradel wriggle away from him for the first, stood watching for the second, and passed to Bournemouth for the third. And yes Bournemouth completely dominated us for 90 minutes. There is no two ways about it. You dominate from the centre of the midfield.

He was the only one playing centre midfield, he wasnt hiding like Colback. Colback was at fault for the first, not Shelvey.

He wasn't completely bossed by Dan Gosling, he got an assist? Our only assist.

He's way better than anything we've got in centre midfield.

Also, McClaren will go tomorrow, apparently.

Good news.

He's absolutely diabolical. Makes Sissoko look like a fucking workhorse. A true master of doing something extremely visible for two minutes - before being going AWOL for half an hour. - But yeah he's inspired us to safety - while Swansea have been in freefall. Dan Gosling and Andy Surnan rang absolutely circles round the clown.

Absolutely wrong in every aspect of this post

Is there any reason whatsoever why Riviere would start ahead of Doumbia and Mitrovic or is McClaren really that retarded?

Started in blind hope he'd score I think so he can say I know best.

Only league goal in about 326 games was a mishit.

Oh good - so now McClaren is attempting to fight journalists in his press conferences.

Things really are fucking disintegrating. And like he has any complaint if defeat tomorrow yields a P45 given how he's taken a squad going backwards even further into reverse.

It's hilarious how he's trying to accuse journalists of 'having an agenda' against the club because they haven't printed anything positive in 5 months.

BECAUSE NOTHING POSITIVE HAS HAPPENED YOU BIG GINGER PRAT

Newcastle also caused Stoke no problems whatsoever.

Never even tried to. We need to sack Mclaren before Bournemouth or we'll be relegated.

The club have their head in the sand from the top down. Incompetent from ashley through Charnley through mcclaren and through the players.

Shelvey has provided match winning passes and Wijnaldum has provided match winning goals. Albeit all at home.

Sissoko hasn't done much since Spurs away

Gouffran is a terrible choice though. Offers nothing.

Usual negative tactics here, 2/3-0 to stoke after 0-0 at half time I imagine.
