Also I notice the 'new in FM2021' players/staff are showing with 10 digit ID numbers in the database. Do you know if these ID numbers will stay the same in the full game? Seems strange to go from 8 digit ID's to 10 digit ID's.

Yes. The Resource Archiver seems unable to extract any files from the FM 2021 beta.

I'm using the Resource Archiver from FM 2019 which worked fine on last years beta.

Some interesting comments there (and thanks for the support guys).

My twopence worth for what it's worth:

1) I think there should be a limit on individual requests. Personally I'd make it a 10 requests limit.
2) There should be a separate teampack requests thread (or at least have teampack requests/cut-outs listed separately). Failing that teampack requests need to show as one line only (click to expand request).
3) I wouldn't have mixpack requests, purely to avoid people requesting tons of random images in one pack (I still have nightmares about the guy who requested over 500, mostly bad, images in one pack!).

I'd be more than happy to moderate teampack requests to make sure no one is abusing it.

FAO mons thanks for the offer. I'll upload the pack now and send you a link to it. A few of the pics have been cut today but IMO don't look great (purely because the requested images are too small). However I'll leave it to you to decide which to request.

mons if the new system can't distinguish between teampack requests and individual requests and a requests limit is imposed what's the point of having teampack requests?

In the past year or so I've made about 11000 image requests in total (teampack and individual) and about 8000 of them have been cut. With a 20 total requests limit you could probably have divided the request figure by 10.

Now I'm not the smartest cookie but even if I turned into the world's quickest, best cutter (and that definitely isn't going to happen) there is no way the total cut figure would be anywhere near 8000.

The irony is I'm trying to add a pack with bigger versions of some of the pics that were requested overnight.

I've just tried to add a pack request and get the following message.

Too many requests
You already have 57 requests and you may not have more than 20

It's counting all my teampack image requests towards this total as I only have 10 individual requests outstanding.

Is this 'new' 'limit' related to the person who made 50+ requests overnight?

Can this be amended please otherwise it's going to be impossible to make pack requests.

FYI the pack this player was in did get cut but he didn't for some reason.

Sorry I got confused with this new upload system for packs and accidently 'deleted' my first attempt at requesting this team.

Now I'm getting a different error. Tried to upload a pack but after about 2 minutes I get the attached message.

As per my last post I thought the issue might be that there now seems to be a 20 pics per pack request limit. However I've just tried to upload a pack containing 20 images (9 MB's in size) and I'm still getting the 'Payload too large' error.

There's only been 2 (successful) request packs uploaded since the new site launched and both of those were less than 2 MB's in size. Is there both a size and image number limit?

Are you sure you downloaded the full 13.0 megapack and not the 13.0 update pack? How many images are in the folder you downloaded?

mons I might have missed this but is there now a limit of 20 images per pack? I notice that no packs uploaded since the new website launched have more than 20 images in them.

Can the last pic requested be rejected please? The pic above it (in my Troyes request pack) is new and much bigger. Thanks.

mons I know this is marked as fixed but it isn't. I just tried to upload the same pack as yesterday and got the same error (as below).

Oops! An Error Occurred
The server returned a "413 Payload Too Large".

Can't see this mentioned in the list above. Previously when one of my requests was completed I'd receive a notification about this. That isn't happening now, even after the completed cut-out has been approved.

Not a massive problem....and might be a sneaky ploy by mons to stop me requesting so much 🙂
