So if I buy the hard copy in my club shop that should work? Won't I have to stick the disc in somewhere (which is the problem with my Macbook..)

I feel like such a gamer noob.

Bit of a noob question but I'm a tad out of touch with football manager these days. I've just bought a MacBook, which obviously doesn't have a disc drive, where can I buy a Mac download version of FM? I looked on steam but FM15 is still £30, where as I can pick up a hard copy for £5 in our club shop...

Halftime at Blundell Park today, Town 2-0 Derby. Strong Derby team including Ince, Hughes and Bent! Padraig Amond and Craig Clay with our goals. Promising.

No, we're all about team spirit and hard graft here but one key player can make the difference! Budgets are tight and getting smaller each year we're down here so anything the fans can do to help is a benefit. The Mariners Trust is doing a fantastic job so far.

I've never felt a buzz about the town as much as there has been in recent weeks since the playoff defeat. Next season really is our year.

We are crowd funding to raise funds for the playing budget for this season. Operation Promotion launched this morning and has smashed through the 8 week £20k target in just 12 hours!

Truly amazing stuff from our fans, so proud to be #GTFC

I've also now heard the Barnsley rumour is false. Roberts could be ok but I wouldn't expect too much. Like if said though, got a hell of a long throw.

Yeah but Gregory was actually decent, this Roberts guy got laughed off the pitch when we played them at their place season just gone. But saying that, there are some hidden gems in the conference and below. Good luck to him.

He's slow.

But in all seriousness he's a very good defender, but I'm unsure whether he would make the grade in league one. He's not much of a ball player, put it that way.

Anyway, I've heard since this morning that he may infact not be signing for Barnsley but may be going elsewhere. Should probably mention his chronic knee and back injuries too... So you may as well leave him with us

That Roberts you've signed from the shaymen by the way is an awful awful player! He's got a long throw but other than that he just hoofs it everywhere. I've seen him play multiple times. Only 24 so may improve....

With some of our players imminent departures I saw this on our forums and thought it was a good post...

"The last 24 hours sum up all that is wrong in the world of football.

FIFA is finally exposed as the cesspit of corruption that everyone knew it to be. Decisions (allegedly) made for financial gain rather than the good of the game.

At our insignificant end of the game, further illustration of how money has been sucked out of the game.

We play in a well attended Wembley final but more money goes to the ticket agent than the clubs involved.

Due to factors like this, a relatively well supported club like ours lacks the financial certainty to contract players for more than a year so that every season becomes a perilous rebuilding exercise rather than one of gradual improvement.

As a result, players are unable to commit themselves to a local area and a player of the season is close to leaving because it's too difficult to get to work.

A promising young player moves up two leagues and the club gets no reward for their development over several years. Pre Bosman, we might have got a fee for Pearson - maybe £100k which would have at least funded Magnay's journey to work and more. Transfer fees were a reasonably efficient way of passing money down the pyramid. Now clubs are caught in a spiral where they can't risk long contracts but as a result they don't get transfer fees. Lose lose for the small clubs.

I remain optimistic that PH can rebuild and hopefully we still keep a core of players but it's hard not to get down hearted."

If anyone's interested it looks like our centre half Shaun Pearson is off to Barnsley and our right back Carl Magnay probably to York. Two of our best players, and more could follow.

Absolutely gutted about yesterday. We were the better team on the day and should have won. How their keeper stayed on the pitch for the handball outside the area I'll never know, ref bottled that decision. Devasted to lose on penalties, the worst I've ever felt after a match. Not embarrassed to say I shed a tear, so proud of our players.

But well done to Rovers, someone had to win and someone had to lose, football I guess.

Up the Mariners.

Congratulations to Barnet, we didn't capitalise when they dropped points and they've headed the Conference for a long-time. On the bright side, we go into the pay-offs off the back of 1 defeat in 29 and a 7-0 hammering of Alfreton. Justice will not be served if we don't join Barnet back in the league.

Good luck for your second leg on Sunday! Here's hoping we make it to Wembley too for what should be a good game!

Drew with Heed today. They are an awful awful team, exactly depicting their manager Gary Hill. We nicked a point in the 95th minute thankfully, having dominated most of the game.

The referee, Mr J Brooks (a premier league linesman) gave the most inept refereeing display I've ever seen. The second worst I've seen happened to be his display when we played Braintree. Totally out of touch and should stick to running the line for those nancys in the prem.

We asked for more than the 2500 when we sold out but obviously Alfreton said no. Reckon there'll be plenty of Town in the home end and there's a very nicely situated hill outside the ground where people can stand if needed!

Need a win tomorrow first, and hopefully Chester and Nuneaton can get something against Rovers and Barnet.

Big weekend coming up for us, Gateshead at home followed by Alfreton away on Monday. We've sold 2500 tickets that alfreton have given us for that one, in a ground that holds 3600!

We could either be playing Nuneaton, Gateshead or Wrexham on Saturday... All because A) Stupid FA Trophy rules B) Gateshead are so shit that they can't get a game arranged and C) Gary Mills is a bellend. Subsequently, neither Welling or Eastleigh know who they are playing on Saturday either.

Hate this tin pot league and its tin pot FA Trophy.
