The final FM21 patch/update has been released and the issue with the video adboard duration has not been amended, I am making the assumption that in future versions of FM video adboard’s will be capped to 15 seconds in length. This means that a significant number of video ads made for this patch will never work as intended within Football Manager, to say this is frustrating is an understatement. There is no simple fix to change the duration of these adboard’s and many will need to be remade from scratch.

Moving forward I will mainly be focusing on producing generic video ads for the most commonly played European Leagues, while dipping in and out of the request thread. I am hoping to bring out an update every six weeks for the foreseeable future, if all goes well the next update will be out during the last week of April. Below is my new WIP list.

Hi rabcp, hope you are well and thank you once again for an amazing set of adboards, two quick questions for you how can i make a donation to help your fantastic work and in the new fm21 v1.1 patch my gazprom adboards are not showing in champions league games? I have the pdf in my video adboards but its not showing in the match engine can you help? Thank you

Hi does anyone know where to put the videos folder as there is no simwatchviewer uncompressed folder in fm21? All the adboards inside the grounds are working fine but the pitch side adboards are black,never had this trouble before with any previous versions of FM, any info or advice is greatly appreciated

its because u have to delete the cup kits in the editor and yes u have to start a new season
Like if u take man utd u will see there are kits for championsleague etc delete so u only have the default kits in the editor

Can you take a screenshot instead of a photo as its not very clear.

Can you also try deleting the content of the SD folder and copying the contents of the HD folder into it, this tends to work with older or lower spec systems

Your path for the video ads look different to the path needed (pic on FAQ on page 1) have a look at this again, do you have multiple hard drives?

Thanks for the info but still black video boards on both club and no club modes and the static boards around the stadium still working. I do not have multiple hard drives and one thing i did notice in the video folder there is two folders inside it hd & sd please see attachment, do i actually need both these folders? Thank you

this path is wrong it should be my documents/sports interactive/football manager 18/ads

Install the patches in order to fix this issues, all links are in the first post of this thread

Thanks for that stadium static adboards now working fine but video boards are black in both club and no club mode where as before default video boards worked perfectly. Is there a file that needs deleting or renaming to make these video ads work?

Which xml file are you using and during which clubs matches are you experiencing this issue?

Can you post screenshots of your file locations

i have followed the instructions carefully as per the download as i have previously done with the FM16 & FM17 Adboard patches, i dont have any blank or black adboards but all the adboards are default ones in both club and no club format which makes me think the XML file is not working?

Hi guys what am i doing wrong? I have been playing football manager / championship manager since 2009 and i have never had a problem loading graphics or adboards before but no matter what i do with this patch all i get is default adboards, can someone please help me, thank you
