I had the Adboards working before, but no numbers, now i have the numbers but no adboards, sorry mate thought it fixed the numbers so you could have both.

After putting the font file in i am getting the numbers but blank adboards now Daz

I'm sorry to semi-hijack this thread but my issue is a bit related to something DazS8 mentioned above. They mentioned that FM18 has no graphics folder to be found in the game folder. I'm an avid modder of FM (graphics & sounds mostly) and I noticed the new game's odd folder structure as well. The first thing after downloading I went to see what's inside this puppy and... it was honestly... strange. I've usually added my own match sounds into FM's sound folder and then edited the triggers to bring them to life in the match engine. Now, I can find the same familiar config files for match events & sounds, but there's no sound folder for me to place my added sound files in. It's really weird, since the configs are the same editable type as before. I have no idea where the game is playing the match sounds from now...? They have to be accessed from somewhere, just like the graphics!

If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it because I've got used to applying my own sounds to enhance the atmosphere since FM14 I think, not sure. So for me, it's just not the same without it.

Thanks DaszS8... So I've managed to overwite the Clubs xml and have no back up I'm trying a few recovery tools and if I have no luck I'll need to reamake the xml which will take a few days...FML

Installation instructions

1. Extract the xml, graphics and steam folder to your desktop


2. Place the graphics folder into the following directory;
My documents/sports interactive/football manager 2017
You may be asked if you want to replace existing files and folders, agreeing to this will just update previous adboards and will not result in the loss of any previous graphics.


3. Open up the xml folder on your desktop


4. You will notice two folders one called ‘Club Adboards’ and the other ‘‘Non Club Adboards’ cut and paste these of these folders to the following directory
My documents/sports interactive/football manager 2017/ads


5. Choose your prefered xml file and copy and paste this file over the existing fm.xml file in the football manager 2017/ads directory.


6. Place the steam folder into the following directory;

C:\Program Files (x86)

You may be asked if you want to replace existing files and folders, agreeing to this will just update previous adboards and will not result in the loss of any previous graphics.


7. Load up FM17 and in the preferences
uncheck use skin cache
uncheck clicking on ad board takes you to owners website
check reload skin on confirm.
Go to the 'general' tab and set size of text & images to 100%
(if not already)

Hi guys.

I'm not sure if I'm asking in the right place, but here we go... I downloaded the last update of the fm2017's database, but in the team I use to play (Gremio - Bra) there isn't some players. Curiously, in the database here of the site, is everything correct. Is there a problem in my (v17.1.2) game ou I'm missing something?
