I checked on my save, and he is not listed on BCFCs staff at all. I made the change in the data update for you, see if it's on the next drop.

I managed to change a similar thing for SUFC by setting Stephen Bettis back to Managing Director (on the data update) and it was updated for the FM24 download… maybe try it with Tom Wagner…but if he doesn't actually exist in FM24 then idk if it will work.

 

I did look at that but it had Wagner already as a Chairman, but I'm not sure if I did it right, though. He is in the game, 100%.

Unfortunately not - in terms of file structure, the non-playing staff changes (which are buggy) are in the same file as the transfers…and always have been.

 

Appreciate the situation with non-playing staff is frustrating - it is frustrating for the staff team, too. It's a tricky thing to solve; as we have to maintain data that serves as the basis for both FM26 and FM24 Data Updates and changes to the way SI structure their data throws up challenges.

 

I'll be honest, I don't know the very latest on progress of resolving the issue, nor the pathway to resolve it, so I can't give more than a simple response (as above).

 

Thanks.  Is this something I can edit in the editor before I start a game after I download the latest file? I am only bothered about Tom Wagner at Birmingham for my save.

 

If I created a new editor file for my blues management and loaded that with the update, would that sort it out?

I managed to find an old file from the 9th November (fm24) that doesn't have the chairman glitch.  Is there any way I can get the new transfers but still use this version as a base without breaking stuff again?

 

I can't quite work out which file(s) have the issues in and where the transfers are found.

I see my issues regarding Birmingham City's Chairman and random staff are common; is there going to be a fix? I never noticed any issues before Christmas.

In the very latest file today, Tom Wagner isn't even in the staff roster now?

 

Craig Gardner is listed as a director, but he is the Director of Football

The Chinese dudes are no longer on the board.

I am 99% certain these issues have been present since the 12th December

In the latest file, Tom Wagner is specified as the Director of Football, but he is the Chairman

 

Also, is there any way of including Birmingham City's new Powerhouse stadium and stadium move in 2030?

Hi guys,  sorry bit of a noob here.  I have downloaded the latest live update but for some reason, Tom Wagner at Birmingham City is now showing as The Director of Football.  He is the Chairman, not the DoF.

 

I have tried to locate the edit file to change it myself, but it shows as “chairman” in the England changes, so I assume it's been updated somewhere else?

 

Any ideas for FM24.
