Can someone help me find the folder on my mac?
I don't have a steam or epic version, I have the fm.app.
In the past I was able to find the folder after clicking on “Show Package Contents”, but now I can't find the data folder in there.

After fm.app it's Content/Plugins/game_plugin.bundle/Contents/Resources/Shared/data/database/db

You have to show contents on game_plugin.bundle as well.

I recommend putting it on your sidebar for easy access.

On Text Edit, press command + f and it will give you search/replace options.

Yeah, when I remove the 3-character club updates from the lnc and restart my game, nicknames are back. Previously Juventus, Napoli, etc. had a -. Now they have nicknames again.

I'd much rather have nicknames than worry about the 3 character versions so I'm just removing them for now.

The club nicknames look like they're impacted by the 3 character updates in the lnc file, like with long and short club names, sadly.

I don't remember if they were in 1.1

Can confirm that Napoli are still called Parthenope, some Portuguese teams haven't updated, Osasuna and Sociedad are still incorrect on my save

Did you remove the language folder which is new to the default dbc folder?

Or download the 1.3 version and make sure to delete all the default folders before copying it over?

Cause I just removed the new folder, didn't even download 1.3 yet and I have all 3 of those named correctly.

From the instructions at the top of the page:

“You have to click “show packaged contents” on the fm.app and game_plugin.bundle folders. This basically means that you need to right-click (or Control + click) on fm.app (or game_plugin.bundle) and choose Show Package Contents that lets you open up the folders inside the app icon.”

I recommend adding the db folder to the sidebar once you get there for whenever this is updated or you have to reapply it due to SI updates.

Do you think we need to have the ‘Women’ tag there for for example Como or Ternana? It makes the name inconsistent to the Men’s team again. I think we at least need to align the short name to not have the Women tag, as most clubs in the SI DB do not have this

I see Napoli is indeed unrelated, nice catch.

If their women's teams use “Women” in their official name, it makes sense to use them.

This does not work for me on an M1 Mac. After renaming the existing file and copying the new file I get a message stating that FM is damaged and can't be opened when I try to launch the game.

This has been happening on Macs without any mods too. If you click cancel then go to your privacy and security settings you can choose to “open anyway.”

I keep getting an error when updates apply on Mac- fm” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin.

Does anyone know the fix for this as it has happened a few times and needed to reinstall?

Looked online and there isn't any fix that seems to have worked (or I've not done it right)

Choose cancel when that pops up.

Then go to your setting and search for privacy and security.

In privacy and security there will be an option to open it anyway. That should stick until the next update.

The .lncs will apply to saved games. Not sure why the names would reverse after reloading unless the hotfixes are installed then and overwriting with the originals.

It's when they release the data editor versions they only work on new games.

For the Mac issue, if reinstalling doesn't work (it hasn't for me), you can go to your security settings and have it run anyway.

I downloaded the file and did all the steps but still no Ajax staf.

That update won't be available until full release. You can't do it via lnc files, it needs the editor.

Hey there @Crpls! Thanks so much for helping out so fast!
I haven't changed the pathway to my knowledge, however, it does differ from the standard, mine is Users > myusername > Public > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2022 > Editor Data. I changed my pathway in the FM22 Preferences section and this has solved the problem and I have access to the leagues now! Thank you for the suggestion! 🙂

The library one is hidden by default. You have to up to “Go” in Finder and hold down Options to access it (you can put the folder on the sidebar once you're there) but changing the path to the public folders works too! I did it the “hard” way cause the instructions I found when first starting with FM22 told me to lol

If you haven't changed the path for your user data within the FM22 preferences, make sure the FMFs are in Users > yourusernamehere > Library > Application Support > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2022 > editor data

The Icelandic Champions Cup (7840183) and Icelandic League Cup A (7840167) logos are backwards.

The Champions Cup is the Super Cup and should have the KSI logo, and the League Cup A should the Lengjubikarinn logo.

The | character work doesn't work with lnc files, unfortunately

I'm a bit torn on the Copa del Rey name, truth be told. I don't think the FULL name is needed, but plain Copa del Rey is a bit too short. I think I'll compromise with "Copa de Su Majestad el Rey"

| doesn't carry over to the game--probably depends on the skin's font--if you change it in the pre-game editor neither.

He said he's taking a break. Also, he finished Europe so I doubt he's going to add more leagues to a nation he already completed. His next plan was for South America.

Foss from the SI Forums says he is working on converting his database to FM19. It's just not as easy as previous versions due to changes/bugs in the editor this year.
