Sorry, I'm an idiot. That comment was meant for another skin. Still love your skin tho! 

I'm not sure if this is by design, or been mentioned, but when you view Club Info, it only shows two of the clubs kits, not all three of their kits. Love the skin tho!  

Thanks again for this @mons. There are other realname fix files out there, but I always come back to yours every year. This should hold me over until full release!

@mons Noticed the german national team isn't playable still. 

 

Don't you have to wait a certain amount of time before it shows playable and has real players? Usually it won't show real players until the next national team call up.

Thanks Mons… Been away from the game for a couple of years…. Just remind me quickly, is this the only thing that is essential to do before starting a new save… I.e. facepacks, kits etc can be applied at any time?

 

You can always add facepacks, kits, and other graphics whenever you want and they apply. Realname fix is only thing needing to be done prior to new game. 

Well, that was fast. I posted in the Fm17 thread and didn't realize this one existed. Spot on work!

FM18 beta is out now. Will this thread update when the FM 18 file is ready? Will we see an update for the beta, or wait til full release?

No. I hadn't even done the proper fix yet for the newest folder, 1712. I have since done so, with the latest real names and fixes, but before I had even done that, the names still worked.

Just updated, and names and fixes still seem to work with my save game.

I installed the most current fix, and Brazilian teams still have that silly 3 letter name, Real San Sebastian, etc, but CL and Europa and everything else is correct.

I started a new game to test and the Brazilian names are all correct along with everything else...so I am assuming you need to start a brand new game to have all those names completely correct.

I believe in you man!

Same for my game. I was able to apply the fix to my save game, Champions League etc works, but the save game has the 3 letter Brazilian club names.

New games however work fine.

Anyway to fix current games Brazilian names? Or is only way to fix to restart, which begs the question, will every time SI update the game, we'll lose Brazilian club names the rest of that current save game?

Figured as much. I'm assuming we can see an update for the beta release? Thanks again. This update is one of the first things I always do.

Any word on how soon we'll see an update for FM16 with beta release almost a week away? Will there be something available for those who play the beta?
