standard database?

you can edit an existing league Mod if you wish

if you want to change the substitute rules you have to do it for every competition you want it be active for and you need to do this in advanced rules, as many comps have several sets of rules[all would need to be edited] set up already for future seasons, and also ‘’additional helpers'' in place covering covid/world cups etc etc that override some league rules

all covered in the FAQs, any further questions start your own thread please as its nothing to do with this thread

I can't send you a DM because I didn't post anything yet. I want to change the sub rules so I can have 5 subs every year and also use your mods (I know it is taking the realism a little bit away). Do you know in which database I have to change it? Thanks!

I have also found that some options are not displaying correctly in windowed mode so try using the editor in full screen mode and adjust the size of the text etc to see if this helps

If these tips do not work you have a bug and need to report to SI

I was wondering if someone can help me please?. I am trying to add 3 players into the game who don't appear at the club that I am about to start a new save with. I have checked for the players using the database and data update and they don't appear. So I thought I would open the editor and add the players myself.

The issue I have is I can create the player but I can't add them to the club. In the attachment, underneath club contract it should say club, then I should be able to use the drop down and locate the club. I've no idea why it doesn't say club as it has everything else that I need in order to create the players and move them to the correct club.

Hi,

For some reason I am unable to search for ‘People’ and it is becoming a big issue.

I type any name in, and everything is blank. As you can see from below screenshot, I have searched ‘Ronaldo’. This shows 263 records, but everything is blank and I cannot click on any of the records. I only have this problem with the ‘People’ section in the editor. I can search for clubs, competitions etc just fine.

How can this be fixed? It never used to do this until last week. How can this be fixed? I've tried un-installing the editor and re-installing again but it didn't work.

[27]Fixture rules/squad selection rules FM22

Only real change this year from previous versions is where to find details of the fixture rules relating to a specific competition this was covered earlier in the thread for versions prior to FM22 in the General tab now it is found in the Fixture Times and Rules Tab [image 1 below ]

You can also find the Fixture rules another way- as always under the Nation, open the Fixture Rules[image 2 below] this will show a drop down ‘’tree'' showing all rules for that Nation- they should be named but not always, and NB some rules cover more than one competition eg sometimes Cup rules cover the nations FA+League cups

Once you have found these rules this covers all things related to squad rules[image 3 below] - max size number of non EU players etc etc also FFP if any are shown here

NB when editing these rules make sure you are selecting the correct rules as there are various types and you select multiple options if you wish eg have overall squad rules+ match day rules and NB you can select various rules to apply to only specific clubs

When a player that I have changed moves to another club. Does he still have the attributes that I have changed?

Ive said earlier yes as long as you load your file when starting your new game

easiest way search for comps in a specific nation

then look at teams in that comp

regarding your changes using with the data update will have no bearing on your changes the data update is just transfer/loans contract changes etc

your data cant be lost if saved and loaded in game however it can cause clashes if you have edited the same thing eg edited transfers/loans etc

however 4 years in if there isnt an additional set of rules doing this it would seem like a bug you need to report to SI
