Hi mons,

Just picked the game up again after a bit of a lay off... wondering if there has been any workaround regarding the naming of Juventus' stadium? I know it sounds petty but I can't handle Zebre Stadium!

Yes, this is a specific issue with Juventus' stadium name not being changeable with an lnc file. Stadium name changes are otherwise possible, even in the middle of a save-game.


Thanks, changed the graphics folder to lower case... so no fix possible for Zebre Stadium?

You needed to have that in place before starting a new game; I'm afraid lnc files won't solve the issue.


The other stadium name changes seem to have worked though.... Udinese, for example.

Hi again mons, bit of trouble once again with the latest update and associated name changes. Followed everything to the letter, so now have Juventus, Betis, Benfica etc again, which is great. Only issue seems to be with Juventus. I have Zebre Stadium rather than Allianz Stadium and for some reason the kits aren't shown anymore. Other Italian team kits are. I've removed all hashtags from all City, Club and Stadium Names.lnc files from folders 2000, 2001, 2010, 2030 and 2040.

Playing on Mac btw

Just manually removed the hashtag on a few obvious ones to see if it worked and it did! Nice one. Thanks for your help

There's a workaround for this issue in the first post. Just change the Portuguese names accordingly.

In past FM versions, for licensing reasons, changes to Portuguese clubs could not be done via lnc files but only through editor data files, so they may not work in your particular case. But I haven't checked this for FM20; still worth trying


Just had a look and I now have the dreaded Zebre, Real Hispalis nonsense again too... workaround should fix that? When I open the City, Club and Stadium Name lnc file in all three folders (db 2000, 2001, 2010) using TextEdit on Mac, I can't find any mention of the fake names... only the correct ones ie. Juventus rather than Zebre.... no idea what to do next.

Thanks for your reply. The issue may have been that I deleted the files before adding the new files from the most recent update. Everything was perfect until I realised I had Bochumm instead of Bochum in the German league and tried to correct it with the updated files. Any idea what to do?
