You didn't follow the instructions right. In step 1, it says to delete the dbc, edt and lnc folder. You've deleted the 22xx_fm folder as well, which contains the game's database and which you shouldn't have done.

 

To get it back, you need to get Steam to verify the integrity of the game files. Then reinstall the files from this download, paying careful attention to the instructions đź‘Ť

 

I figured it as much, I moved my database and game save to another folder and delete and reinstalled the game and everything back to normal.

I followed all the instructions…. but now, I can't even open up my current save or do any edits in the editor data…

What the hell did I do wrong?
