Hi, I added multiple players to Data update, but I noticed something strange with the duplicate check.

The real existing player already seems to exist here:

Aron Babaj
FM ID: 2000476614
DOB: 2009-04-23
Club: Milan Futuro / A.C. Milan

On the player page, it even shows him as a possible duplicate:

Real Aron Babaj - FM ID: 2000476614 - 2009-04-23 - Milan Futuro - Link to 2000476614

But when I go to the Create Person duplicate confirmation screen, the existing real Aron Babaj does not appear in the possible duplicates list. Instead, only my newly created/variant entry appears at the top:

Aron Babaj - A.C. Milan - 2009-04-23

This makes it easy to accidentally create a duplicate, because the real database entry with FM ID 2000476614 is not clearly shown/linked on the create duplicate screen, even though the system clearly knows it exists on the other page.

Could this be checked? It seems like the duplicate detection is not properly showing the existing real Aron Babaj entry during the create-person confirmation step.

Same for others (Those didn't show up in possible duplicates screen)

Still wish we had some kind of position update, like Valentin Barco playing om Middlefield, Nico O'Reilly on left back.

I tried multiple files over multiple days, somehow it’s 73CA always. It’s a player who I think wasn’t in Fm24 default and newly created, but he doesn’t match the CA of the Fm26 databas

and 73CS for a starter in the eredivisie this season may be a bit too low 

Is it possible for new players, which are in FM26 to also have the good CA in FM24?

For example:

but when loading the new players/Ability changes in FM24 he only is 73CA.

Hope we still see a fix to see players like Enzo Molebe appear back in FM24 in a future data update (And probably others players which were removed in FM 24.3)

Anybody that's know of the Enzo Molebe not being created in FM24 was already fixed?

Enzo Molebe is not available to edit in 26.0. They were last seen in 24.0.

Some look's something is not right here! But will wait for it. The rest is working good so I am happy with it 😀

First of all, love all the great work and for you guys supporting FM24 still even with transfers! Would be hard to maintain I understand, so I am happy that most players I create for FM26 also work for FM24 (Only player missing is Enzo Molebe) but that’s probably because he is in the default FM26 database and not in the default FM24 DB. So I may need to create a file myself with players missing from FM24 which are in the default of FM24.

Two questions:

• Will there on day be possible to have the players that are in the default database of FM26 to be added to FM24 somehow? (I understand if the full focus is on FM26, which I dislike personally, the FM version)
• Will it one day be possible to change stuff like position? Like I follow the Eredivisie and Jersy Schouten for example plays as CB for now for the whole season, this change is in FM26 default DB, but a option to change this on Sorti and that the change then also would be in FM24 would be amazing

for now! I will keep submitting new players, doing transfers and bought both premium for downloads and data update to keep supporting this platform 

In addition to this, since I still play FM24 and all new player's I have added to Data update are also added to Fm24, which I love, but for a player like this: Enzo Molebe I can't get added to FM24:

I only use the Contracts & Player attributes files at the moment, where most of time new players are created. He is officially in FM26 (So that may cause it to not be in the data update itself)

Love suggesting stuff! One question, when I submitted a new player it says active, but what’s the difference between Active and approved and is there a minimum of information to be added to get it approved? 

Thanks for the answer! One quick question left, when a submission is for a player is done like for example in august, is that used over the official FM26 CA or PA in the data update  or would the FM26 then be used ? (Since indeed FM 26 research could indeed be from earlier)

Hey I had a question, love those updates. The ability submissions done before Fm 26 (So older ones like done in April 2025) aren't used over the FM26 official CA/PA right?  I submitted a 114CA upgrade against the official 109 CA at the beginning of FM26, so now it will use 114CA right since approved? And it never used the 98CA which was done at 28 February 2025 over the original 109CA right for FM26.

Summary: I see a lot of CA submissions done for FM24 in the players screen, wouldn't it be better to only see changes done for FM26 and not for FM24 (Or maybe differiante it/split it somehow, since you now see ability changes done before and after FM26)

The upload is 66 GB? Nornally I thought around 7 GB. Think a fault 😅

On MacOS with the Unarchiver app I get that the new update megapack is corrupt when I want to extract it

Didn't had this issue with the other megapacks
