You haven't installed it correctly. Read the installation instructions, carefully this time, and try again.

If it still doesn't work, upload screenshots of the folders which are shown in the main post, for both the 2300 and 2330 folders, so I can tell you what you've done wrong.

Hi,

The real name fix for the database 2330 database doesn't fix the Japan and Germany team issues (I couldn't select either Japan or Germany national team). But, the fix for the previous version (database 2300) works like charm. Is the same for you?

Take the fmf file you used in FM22 which contains these player, load it in your FM23 editor, save it, and try starting a new game in FM23.

It's the file(s) you mention in the first post in which you
have created a lot of custom players in FM 22

May I know how to copy these files? I certainly know how to copy the thumbnails. But, not the players' files… Mind giving me a hand? Thanks!

Load the file in your FM23 editor, save it, and try loading it in FM23.

No worries. As I don't have the game installed via Epic Games, my assistance is somewhat limited. Google “Where does Epic Games install games on Macs" or something to that effect, and see if you can find that location on your PC. It should then be straight-forward to see which folders you need to edit and where they are.

Thanks! I finally found the folder on Mac. The path is [User]/shared/Epic Games

I had applied the fix and I am able to manage the Japanese nation now! Thank you very much!

It's important to give me all the relevant information for me to be able to help. You need to find where Epic Games installs games and use the installation paths for Epic Games outlined in the main post. I'm sure Google will help you in this regard.

I am sorry for didn't make it clear enough. I was new in this game and didn't expect that there's a difference between Epic Games and Steam. Perhaps you would have the instruction on how to apply step 1-4 if the game is being purchased from Epic Games? Thanks!

Perhaps you installed Steam in a different path then. The game must be installed somewhere after all, no? To find it, click the link in my previous post to let Steam take you to it.

I didn't install this game via Steam. I purchased it via Epic Games…

What do you suggest?

Those screenshots are for the folder outlined in step 5, so of course you can't find it since you're looking in the wrong place. You can't just pick and choose where and how to install this fix.

The folders from step 1-4 are in the Steam installation folder, which you must have somewhere for the game to be installed. If it's not in the path mentioned in the Step 1, follow the process shown here to find it.

Thanks for pointing it out. But, I don't have the steam folder within my Mac… It only has the Sport Interactive folder…

~/Library/Application Support/Steam/ -→ Doesn't exists…

Can you post screenshots of your 2210 and 2230 lnc folders?

In Step 1 of the installation instructions on this thread, there is a spoiler for Gamepass installation which includes a spoiler. Can you upload a screenshot of what the same section looks for you? I don't have Gamepass myself so my assistance on this matter will be a bit limited, I'm afraid.

I don't have the “data” folder. So, I am unable to remove the fake.lnc and nleague.lnc files.

I am using the “editor data” folder for the updates.

I had applied this fix but when I attempted to start a new game, I am unable to manage either the Japan or Germany team. I would love to manage the Japan team. What else should I do? Thanks!
