He angers me. It angers me even more that Mata and Cazorla were available at the same time and would have cost less.

Honestly, for all the players we've bought from Arsenal, we should really be angrier than you lot, only Clichy has actually been worth it (£7m - bargain!) you've robbed us for the rest. On the bright-side, rumour is he's being sold in the summer \o/

Yeah but he has the excuse of a series of injuries. Nasri's just been plain shit.

Who would buy Nasri? Surely anyone with money that he finds attractive will be put off by how much he will cost and how shit he is.

So glad you beat us to his signing.

Personally I'm hoping PSG come in for him, the downside to that being that he's a Marseille fan.

Yeah, you did us a favour with Nasri and Adebayor - two hugely dislikeable characters with big egos who seemed to have peaked whilst they were with us. Nasri could get better, as he's still young, but I'll be surprised if he ever shows the kind of form he hit for us during 2010/11.

However, even though we made £40-50m from the two transfers, most of it seems to have just gone into the club coffers.

That's the worst part with Nasri. I can take a bad transfer, you know somebody who just isn't all that (Santa Cruz, for example) but Nasri has the talent to be one of the best around but instead he's content to just keep things ticking over, making the neat sideways passes - generally taking the easy option - rather than trying to make something happen and run at defenders (as he did for Arsenal in that 3-month spell of amazing form).

The few games he's actually done that (Newcastle and Norwich) he's looked brilliant.

It pleases me greatly to see him perform so badly.

That's kind of sad, but it's what Arsenal fans have become now - taking joy from seeing our best players moving on and subsequently underperforming at their new, richer clubs, whilst we wallow in 5/6th place battling Everton for a Champions League spot.

Tbf you didn't do to badly getting Giroud in because he looks like he can improve a lot and become a really good striker. Seems he's scoring every time you play lately and looks extremely hungry to play for Arsenal.

I was surprised that he's only 26.

He's got at least 4-6 good years left in him.

Yeah, if we don't win anything this year, he probably will. We (as a club) have fucked this season up. We wasted a great opportunity to consolidate our position in the summer and and a host of players have failed to perform as well as they can - Nasri being the most obvious example.

I'd genuinely forgotten he played for you.

I never thought Nasri was consistently that good anyway.

Hit a good patch of form here and there but never anything consistently over a whole season.

I'd loved to have seen what would have happened if Nasri had went to Utd.

Could have went on to be one of the best midfielders in the world with all his potential.

Or just went shit all the same.

Paolo Berlusconi, the brother of Milan owner Silvio, labelled Balotelli as "the family's little n*****" when speaking at a political meeting in Monza shortly before the former Manchester City striker made his debut for the Rossoneri on Sunday.

Dzeko = #TopLad

Brings a tear to your eye.

Alot of footballers get involved in charity work, but alot of the time it seems very forced, either by their club or agent etc to maintain a good image. Its nice to see when people go out of their way to do stuff like this off their own back, when if he hadn't, no-one would have been any wiser.

Indeed, very nice to read. All credit to them.

Couldn't help notice this too at the side of the article - http://www.joe.ie/football/football-news/picture-hundreds-of-away-fans-dressed-as-sperm-stand-beside-giant-penis-at-the-wankdorf-stadium-0034030-1 . Haha.

If Dzeko wanted to bum you bareback and would give 1 million to charity to do it, would you accept?

Wouldn't even need the condition added to that
