That's correct, but I understand that UE Olot, who only sign Catalan players (I have a file that does this), will sign players from the Catalan lands (i.e. Valencia, Balearics, etc). So this supports that in the football world, at least, they can be recognized with a second nationality of Catalan

Happens with created clubs all the time IIRC, game doesn't think they've been playing together a while. Might help if you set, for each player, the “contract started” date under “contract” to something a few years ago

Are you on 23.3 or whatever caused the Iceland bug? That's nothing to do with me. I think the fix was this:

To fix that just open the file in the pre game editor, save it under a new name, then take the club Kordrengir, make them un-extinct, and put them back in the Icelandic First Division. Then verify and save 

Out of curiosity, what changes are you making? Of course that's fine, just save it under a different name and don't share it. I'm just interested to see what other people are editing

OK it seems to be working. If a CONCACAF team wins, the best loser in the CCL qualifying round the next year gets into the Libertadores group stage too. They're just ineligible for the CCL standings (will think about if I want to change stuff to shift them back in there and make it 17 teams those years).

I might change it so that extra spot (if a CONCACAF team wins) goes to a wild card like the Ligue Antilles winner instead, or a special invited team from somewhere (Japan? Africa?)

If a North American team wins, it seems to free up a spot, I'm guessing the South American qualification is somehow bumping teams down. So if Flamengo wins, and also qualifies via Brazil, an extra Brazilian team gets invited. When a CONCACAF team wins, this isn't happening, and the competition didn't have enough teams so it didn't draw.

I think I've fixed it so that in those years, the extra spot, if needed, will be filled by either the Copa Sudamericana winner or the best loser (aggregrate score) in the CONCACAF first round. I'm just running a long-term test now (where I've also given Tigres and América huge budgets and the world's best players so they can more easily win the Copa Libertadores, haha)

The draw does look weird like that until the qualifying rounds are done, because of all the teams that haven't qualified yet, but I can see from your screenshot that it's July and it still hasn't drawn, so yes that was a result of the bug I fixed a few days ago. Appreciate the help, sorry you had to deal with it

Yeah sorry I sorted that in the last update a few days ago, if a CONCACAF teams win it now they don't get the automatic spot anymore and have to qualify through North America like usual (guessing they “double qualified” in that scenario and the competition didn't draw because it though it only had 47 teams instead of 48)

Updated with the 2024 CCL (now the CONCACAF Champions Cup) format, except the last 16 is no longer played and just draws results from the Libertadores group stage

I know it's a bit late 😉 but working on this now in my CONCACAF club file that fixes up those competitions. Will release it on here later today or tomorrow

Are you running the 23.4 database? They transferred him in the official data patches, I didn't need to touch him after the official January transfer update

Yeah, transfers are done, and just made some small tweaks to get the big clubs to keep a larger squad of Saudi players. Seems to be working, don't expect any more big changes. Try this with my Arab Club Cup and Club World Cup files on Steam, great to have a bigger world for the clubs to play in (and try my international files to get more Arab comps)

Lol, can state unequivocally my file is more realistic in terms of dates, format, etc. It looks like he's added the third tier in basic rules, I suppose you could just copy and paste that into my file if you really want it.

I did some research on finances before the latest news, then for the 4 clubs taken over by the Public Investment Fund (the three you mentioned plus Al-Ahli) I gave them a huge bump too. Might try and think of a way to give Ettifaq a realistic boost as well

I've given the big 4 clubs a big government sponsorship and the objective to sign high-rep players, it's hard to fully replicate their transfer strategy but we can get close. 

No, because they expanded from 16 teams to 18 this season, which is reflected in my database. So 2 teams went down, 4 teams came up. Last season was crowded enough with all the tournaments and a 16-team league, and I'm not compelled that it's worth rejigging the entire thing for 18 teams when it wouldn't be a realistic representation of last season anyway.

If you want, just go into the pre-game editor and “swap” whatever two teams in (maybe winner and runner-up of first division), but the goal here is a realistic database and it starts in summer 2022 obviously, being FM23. Appreciate the suggestion though

Not sure, you can ask in the SI Games forum thread and someone might know, or they've gotta have a big enough pack somewhere like here the other big FM sites

I believe that was an older image, the rules in the current download are accurate. Let me know if you notice any inconsistencies with the IRL rules (realism is the key here). Thanks for the feedback

Place the graphics folders in My documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2013/Graphics

If the graphics folder doesn't exist, you can create it

Uploading a new version today as someone on the SI Games forums noticed a weird roster glitch, after January anyone with a high squad number (40+) was getting deregistered

Not at all, I've probably done the same with my edited files at some point, and this was on me to make sure I wasn't sharing others' work! Keep up with the great kits. Huge part of immersion for me over the years

Sorry @einherjer83 it was resolved when someone let me know of the issue on another site. I had absentmindedly just zipped up my logos not remembering there were downloaded kits in there, my mistake. 

On some of the download pages, I've now included an external link to kitmakers' websites now so that people can get it themselves. Hope that's alright. Cheers fellas
