If you have the silhouettes back, then all you need to do is delete what you have and download and install the latest complete pack (use chrome or any download manager available online to make sure you get the full file). For any rogue config file to interrupt the facepack it has to be within the graphics folder somewhere, and since you have the silhouettes back that is no longer the case.

 

I have re-downloaded twice already. I've copied the graphics folder and tested it on an older game and it works fine. But on this game it wont. It will pull through some logos, but all other logos, faces etc have no image or silhouette 

 

There is nothing else in the graphics folder that could be interfering with it, and as I say, the graphics folders works fine elsewhere. Could the default faces be interfering with it? I'm stumped!

Can I see a screenshot of your search?

 

There's definitely a rogue config somewhere but I have no idea where it could be…

Theres not much to see!

 

Would the rogue config have to be in the graphics folder for this game to be an issue or could it be anywhere on the PC?

When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere.

 

Can you make a search in the graphics folder of the UID of a person who's not showing in your game?

 

Before you take a screenshot, can you sort the results in the manner outlined below?

 

This can be achieved by posting the UID in the red circle, choosing the view tab via the blue circle, the details option in the black circle and making sure the folder column in the green circle is long enough to display the full path.

 

When you run the search, can you change the below search options?

 

This will help me see if there is one or more other folders in your user data folder which contains one or more other facepacks, and where that image is coming from within your files…

The search brings up nothing?! But I can see the image when I find it manually. If I delete the config file in the folder, the silhouettes come back

An empty space. I've searched but theres only the one config file in each folder. I'll try re-downloading

Cheers, that ok? Just blocked out my name!

 

I'm playing 2018, I should have mentioned, does it need older packs maybe, or has the file path changed? I've not had an issue before

I have downloaded the facepack and I have the 480k images, but only a handful seem to be working on FM. The rest have no image at all. Have I done something wrong with the set up? I've unticked cache and reloaded skin as normal, files are saved in C:\Users\xx\OneDrive\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2018\graphics\players
