It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

The search brings up nothing?! But I can see the image when I find it manually. If I delete the config file in the folder, the silhouettes come back

Would the rogue config have to be in the graphics folder for this game to be an issue or could it be anywhere on the PC?

If you have the silhouettes back, then all you need to do is delete what you have and download and install the latest complete pack (use chrome or any download manager available online to make sure you get the full file). For any rogue config file to interrupt the facepack it has to be within the graphics folder somewhere, and since you have the silhouettes back that is no longer the case.

I downloaded the cut out player faces megabuck but some faces of my team are missing so I wanted to add them by myself. So I added them into the folder but when I try to open the folder tot edit the config file it's loading and after a while the finder is not responding anymore. Can anyone help or just send my an config file I can edit and put into?

I have re-downloaded twice already. I've copied the graphics folder and tested it on an older game and it works fine. But on this game it wont. It will pull through some logos, but all other logos, faces etc have no image or silhouette
There is nothing else in the graphics folder that could be interfering with it, and as I say, the graphics folders works fine elsewhere. Could the default faces be interfering with it? I'm stumped!

Hey,
I downloaded the 14 parts of the cutout face pack and extracted them in the graphics folder as I did with trophies and logos.
I followed the instructions and have 480000 png files and the config.xml file there. I unticked the cache settings and ticked the reload skin box as it needs to be. The facepack still does not work while the other packs do.
I play on Mac.
Any help is well appreciated I'll name my next your player after anyone, who can help!+

Also, do you get the black silhouette or an empty space? Can you please upload screenshots of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder?

I did have an empty space but ive deleted all the face files so now gone back to just black silhouette

can anybody tell me if there is a picture for Paul Pogba in the pack? Because he dont have a face for me and maybe there is no pic for him yet but just wondering so my pack is not incomplete or something.

If there's a picture of him in the facepack... yet his ID doesn't match the file (that's why it doesn't show on his profile page), then a possible scenario is: This is a newly created Pogba... maybe he's being removed earlier due to the ban, and some data update recreated him recently.
Anyway, you may simply assign the picture to this new Pogba.

I wish i knew how to do that i am not the mos technical guy when it comes to stuff like that. I will just wait until it might come a new one that matches his id in the future 🙂

You may wait, but the problem is that data updates and facepacks are independent to each other. Assume there's a new Pogba added via custom data updates. The fact is that different data updates re-create their own version of Pogba. In other words, your new Pogba and my new Pogba could have different IDs... Facepack developers aren't going to follow.
Anyway, it's nothing technical, it's "open a text file, and add the ID and filename... like other entries". Of course, do backup before you touch anything!

So, this is the immediate solution... if my assumption is the case. I just feel it's more effective and efficient to take things in own hands... if possible. Giving it a try (at least exploring a bit) is more practical than "I wish I knew how to do that...". Anyway, it's up to you.

Depends what button you clicked on which site you downloaded it from.
I would suggest downloading the torrent file to be sure.
