And I didn't mean Dembele as a number ten, just maybe the most forward orientated of a Dembele/Capoue/Paulinho midfield, in a 4-3-3. And Eriksen as the 'proper' AMC if Villas-Boas wants to play one.

His natural position is a central player, but he was player out wide at Roma and given license to cut inside. He was being groomed as Totti's successor and I can see him over time transitioning back into the central role, much in the same way Bale moved from out wide into a free central role. His skill set is much more suited to that area of the pitch.

Dembele was utterly useless as the number ten. Ideally you'd want to have Lamela operating in that hole, but Townsend, Lennon and Chadli are so awful at crossing you'd much rather have Lamela, who has a pretty good cross on him, out wide and then have Eriksen linking up with Soldado. That was the biggest problem they had, getting him into the game.

Once he finds a way to incorporate all those players into an effective machine they will be outstanding. He did it last season and I can see him doing it again. Lamela has the makings of a good Bale replacement.

Between Walker and Townsend's inability to get the ball over the first man, Chadli's complete absence, and Dembele's poor link up play, it left Soldado completely isolated.

Lamela looked interesting and it remains to be seen how effective Eriksen will be in this team, but there is a lot of tactical work that needs to be done to incorporate Tottenham's mish mash of talent.

Well done to Arsenal for playing their game effectively and defending heroically towards the end. A real let down, I'm sure others were expecting an electric match, but Tottenham are nowhere near the finished article yet.

Who is supposed to be the person linking the central play between Tottenham's midfield and Soldado? If it was meant to be Dembele he's doing a terrible job, and out wide Chadli and Townsend's delivery into the box has been atrocious.

Story time.

Went out at about three for lunch, ended up staying out all night. Me and some slags went back to my best friend's house in Sloane Square. Everyone was doing coke, and I haven't done that for almost six months, soi shit was getting dull. This fine ass ho was getting crunked up in the house and I was eyeballing her batty crease, hard. Long story short I played some of my many moves on that cunny tunnel and convinced her to pay for a taxi back to hers. Get back to her hovel and shits getting all wrong, head up to her bedroom and we start getting down to business.

Except every time I try to put my dong inside her cunt it won't go, and trust me I've given her enough of a tongue tornado by this point that her gash is wetter than a log flume. I'm thinking "yeah my cock is huge" but really it's she's just tight as fuck and so butt cunted she can't operate. So I said, "fuck let's do this another time" cos I'm a legit gentleman. Obviously I didn't take her number because fuck that noise.

On the way out I stole four chicken breasts and a dozen eggs from her fridge. Jackpot baby.
