I've just finished watching the Dark Knight rises and it was probably the best film I have ever seen. Nearly cried at the end, so many twists, big well done to the people who make it.

If that's true that's a terrible shame. There are films that are far superior to the TDKR in virtually every category.

Kevin Blackwell is a dick. I was in the Director's Box back in 2006 for our away match against Ipswich, 1-1 draw with a magical performance by Danny Haynes. Anyway after the match ended we went inside to mill around eating cakes and drinking champagne. I was talking to some old slag about Ipswich's season stalling. In walks Blackwell, I point him out to my mate and say I'm going to talk to him. There's about six people in the world I would genuinely be star struck by and one of those will always bee Leeds' manager.

So I go over and heres how the conversation goes:

Me: "Hi Kevin, Max. It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm a huge Leeds fan."
KB: "Nice to meet you."
Me: "How do you think the season is going? Healy's playing really well and Gregan and Butler actually hold their own against most sides. It's been amazing watching the club come back from the edge so quickly."
KB: "Why do you support Leeds" (because I don't sound like I'm from Yorkshire)
Me: "Never mind."

I hate that sloppy faced cunt.

It gives countries who would never have a chance to host a European tournament fixture an opportunity to showcase what they have to offer. Imagine one night being in the intimidating Atatürk, the next night in Tbilisi in the Dinamo Arena, Bucharest, Belgrade, Yereven, Glasgow, Dublin etc.

Framed correctly it could be a brilliant celebration of the best of rarely trodden Europe. Of course the reality is that it may well just be a casual perusal through the most well known names in European stadiums. But I'm not going to write it off just because it breaks tradition, I think it's an interesting idea if done well. It's nowhere near as bad as Blatter trying to get the 2022 World Cup played in the winter.
