Hi all, recently downloaded FM20, and trying to install the licensing and real name fix. Just one problem - I don't have the "Football Manager 2020" folder. When i go to
Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\ i can see Football Manager 2019 and Football Manager 2019 Editor. Has the 2020 folder been moved to a new location?

Threw it away with those final two matches, very disappointing. I've decided not to renew my contract as it's time to move on, goodbye Limavady Utd it's been bloody frustrating!

hh ok thanks - was a little odd as in the leagues I've just come through I was able to offer a contract length

I've the same in my current save in N Ireland.

It's good because you don't get stuck paying a player on a high contract for a few years who isn't performing, you're able to just release them at no cost. The bad is that obviously any other club can just come in and take them off you whenever they feel like it.

It'll be as they're part time players, not full time. This will change as you move up the leagues and the players become professional.

I'd say yes it'll run it though it may struggle with the 3D match engine unless played on low settings.

Just a bit curious as to why Tierney is forward and RB isn't? If I played Bellerin instead of Chambers what would I do?

It's like that as there is no wide left AM position so have pushed the LB forward as I wanted Aubameyang to stay more central. With the right side you have Pepe wide but Belerin will still get forward plenty.

You can try moving him forward but it'll probably leave you very exposed to the counter attack, which it all ready can be at times.

So close in the league! Would've been nice to get a cup under your belt too.

Think I was on a 13/14 game unbeaten run in the league but all those draws cost.

Tbf we was well beaten in the final, scoreline makes it look a lot closer but we did well to get there.

I'm 48, have early onset mermnory loss, and I'm completely stuck using a Mac (never used one before). I'm fine up to deleting the three decades folders, then it all gets so technical? please someone can they help me or send me a lik to a video I can keep pausing, flicking between the folder and the instruction page is breaking my brain

You don't delete the whole folder, just the dbc, edt & Inc ones inside. Then replace them with the new dbc, edt & Inc that you have downloaded.

Tough end to the season but hopefully now with a full transfer window ahead of you, you can sort the wage problem out and improve the squad.

Yeah hopefully. Never really managed this low before and one I've noticed is that you change players very quickly due to there being no actual contracts as It's very hard to keep hold of players if someone offers them a deal elsewhere.

A poor end but we achieved a top half finish which should keep the board happy. Wage budget is a problem as we're currently spending £400 a week more than we should be.

I think that's a slight exaggeration

This tactic is made for Arsenal with my knowledge on what the players can do. I've seen many people get far far worse results using their own ideas when playing with the same team.

Plus I attack whether home or away no matter who I'm playing against, this of course means I'll suffer the odd big defeat against a tough opponent, but it doesn't bother me providing I'm winning more than I'm losing.

You can see above how it finished with Arsenal (very well) and the other clubs were simply holidayed through with no human input which would have almost definitely seen an improvement had I off picked the team myself and managed them during matches.

Anyone using the public beta there is a big update available with huge ME improvements.

Currently waiting for it to download myself.

EDIT: For those of you who wish to also use the public beta version (basically you get to test any updates before regular users) here's how.

- Open Steam
- Go to 'Football Manager 2020' within your Steam Library
- Right-Click on the game and select 'Properties'
- Select the 'Beta' tab
- Via the 'Select the beta you would like to opt into' dropdown, select 'public beta'
- Click 'Close'

Are there country restrictions with the code? What country should your store be set to?

Have you also tried changing your home address on Steam?

Yes, just the PC. Monitor is only around 18 months old and have a new keyboard and mouse ready to go. Just the PC, ideally with Windows 10 pre loaded

Ok, well to be honest you're really going to struggle to get much for that kind of money, if you can save a little more to something like £400-£500 you will be able to get a fairly decent PC.

The long shots are ridiculous, in my Bournemouth save at the minute played against Newcastle, 7 long shots from us, 10 from them.. seems absurd, I think average in a game I've seen is maybe 3 total.
