Have you tried downloading the separate config file and placing that in the main backgrounds folder?

Any chance of a screenshot of your graphics folder and also you are clearing skin cache in preferences and reloading the skin after any changes.

Fairly certain there is a config in each update including the main pack? Don't think there is one in each folder just one for the whole pack, I'll look when in from work later if someone doesn't before that.

Spent yesterday evening scaling the player search after releasing 14 players in a bid to massively improve the squad (something I couldn't do with Albion). This proved a ridiculous idea as 90% of players I was able to attract are probably worse than what I started with

Only got round to playing a couple of friendlies which we did win (just), though the quality of the opposition was equal to that of an over 50s walking football team.

Could well be another quick exit.

it's only weird with the default ones that are already on there. Just a case of waiting until the skins come out with the main release?

If its just the default ones try this.

Open Steam, right click on FM and go to properties, then local files and select 'verify integrity of game files'. That will re-install any files that may be missing.

Albion Rovers chairman Eddie Hagerty was impressed enough in my interview to offer me the chance to save Albion from relegation from the Scottish football league. It's certainly going to be tough but the fans should know that we will give it our all and if nothing else my attacking style will at least bring a smile to their faces.

Decided to start as simply cannot wait for release day.

Have loaded all leagues from the UK and Ireland on a huge DB, holidayed until the 31st December and will see what jobs are available. Started with a National C License and Sunday League Rep.

Tempted too but I know as soon as I do I'll start encountering bugs! Have to hold out for full release. Interested to see how challenges are going to be run this year here too.

Meanwhile in my Beta save as Everton, just got to mid December and Spurs have sacked Pochettino and sit in tenth place. Wonder if it will happen irl!

I've not really had any problems, nothing that makes it unplayable anyway.

Also some good news for the full release.

Firstly, we would like to thank everyone for their feedback on our Beta version of the match engine, especially those who uploaded PKM's for us to review. The reason we ask for PKMs is that every decision a player makes is based on a incredible number of variables, meaning that each case is unique in their own way. This means that specific examples are incredibly useful for the development team. When testing improvements, we can replay certain decisions and events in our updated Match Engines and see if it is still happening.

Understandably this is an extremely busy time for us so we've been unable to reply to each thread individually. But we want to assure everyone each individual thread gets read, even if they don’t get a specific reply. It’s a very important part of our development process to look at your feedback and examples when looking at how we can move forward.

The beta feedback this year has been very helpful and productive, and the main concerns raised fortunately matched up with what we believed to be the main issues internally and we have been working hard on some good improvements. It’s good to know that we were on the same page as you guys and we strongly believe that the release version of the ME is going to be the best we’ve ever released.

To give you guys an idea of the kind of work that has been going on – we have been working around the clock analysing the main issues we have and working out how we can make them better. We have had over 10 different internal MEs since the beta has gone out that all have required intensive testing and analysis. This is a substantial amount of work and is testament to how passionate and hard working the development team are. Working on the ME is incredibly difficult, there’s so many variables and decisions being made that even a small change to tweak e.g. long shots balance can have drastic effects elsewhere in the game. This means that it can be a very difficult balancing act to get things just right, but we are convinced that there’s a much better balance overall in the release ME that we think will be noticeable and enjoyable.

This doesn’t just apply to the match AI either, there are also many improvements to the graphics, art and animation that we are excited for you guys to see.

Hi,

I'm on a Mac and I've put the face packs, kits and logos in a graphics folder located where Mons has shown, but it still isn't working. Any advice to help fix the problem

Try changing skins then back to the one you're using.

Yeah I can see it doing that, slowly the game will die.

All I can say at the moment is at least stuff like logo's lasts so once you have them you're ok, its the facepacks and kits that are going to suffer.

Has any seen the panic on Twitter regarding logo, face and graphic packs? Sounds like some licensing people are now trying to stop this going into FM. Other FM sites have had to take their packs down. Hope it isn't an issue here.

I put the Google earth images in the graphics folder, couldn't see to read anything. Now my skin is see-through and I can't see anything either. For the home and squad screens it has the start up in the dressing room. During a match it has the pitch:

Try deleting any skins you have downloaded and then re-download just the one you want to use. I'm not sure what you have done but somehow you have conflicting files which is causing everything to mess up

So predictions for tonights epic thrashing, I'll be amazed if we only lose by a three goal margin and if Leicester score early it'll be five. My only hope is that if this does happen Emery will be gone the next day, but sadly I can see him being in charge for the rest of the season where not getting CL football will see him dismissed.

Iam playing fm 2020 beta and Iam trying to sign son from spurs
But no luck
Has anyone managed to do this

Also trying to sign a few youngsters but as soon as I put a bid in my board block it saying Iam paying to much for him

Think this is something that is being looked into for the full game release as the board have been blocking transfers when trying to sell players too.
