Inside there is the correct icon for FM24.

Then I right clicked on the FM23 (FM24) shortcut on my desktop, selected 'Get Info' and dragged the icon from the folder above over the FM23 icon image in the Get Info menu and hey presto - it updated my desktop shortcut to FM24.

Strange as the logo's are working fine for me, is it just those 2 files that are doing it?

Have you enough space on your computer for them as they're quite large files.

Good idea but are you able to make the ball smaller than the original as I've always found it slightly too large in comparison to the 2D players.

I've no idea how to do it myself 😀

SI have said this is a known issue and something they're looking into.

Little update as into January now, got a bit excited at the interest in some of our shite players and decided to sell them. The board were less than generous and of the £50m+ I made they gave me around £26m to spend on replacements, this has left me less than impressed. I also forgot that 4 of our players bugger off to the African Nations leaving me with a 1st team squad of just 16 players and that includes Lacazette who leaves at the end of January 😀 

We are though still performing better than I expected in the league and are also through to the Carabao Cup final where we play Leicester.

Season 1 September Results

Can I just say that write up was a brilliant read and you're right at the end, this place really has burnt a lot of people out over the years. Quite amazing (maybe worrying) how it can take over your life.

My most productive time was probably before @Footygamer  took over admittedly. So just wanna say thank you to everyone who is very active on the site today and keeping it going.

Yep, Tierney is now captain 😀 Auba will be sold at the end of the season and Lacazette.

Season 1 August Results

Only the second time I've loaded up the game since I installed on release day as have just not been interested in FM yet this year, plan here is to stay with just the one club as its something I've never managed in the past.

  Season 1 Pre Season  

Nothing exciting here as always have transfers switched off, did improve my backroom staff but that was it.

Friendlies were fairly standard with none of our opponents being of any real quality. Though the 9-2 victory over Getafe did stand out as they are in La Liga.

Tough start to the season now where we play Tottenham (H), Chelsea )H) then Man City (A) so I'm expecting a start similar to real life!

Not a massive problem but I've noticed the ko times are an hour earlier than they should be.

Been a few years since I last saw you post, things have changed a lot and much quieter now away from the FM forums.

It's not a problem as leagues are named correctly in game, was just when it came to picking the team.

Scrap that, managed to sort it by making the picture exactly that size.

Right this is driving me mad, every time I try to upload a ‘person’ background its telling me - Person Background must be at least 1920 x 1080 px

This happens whatever size the picture is?

The whole concert is brilliant.

Took me bloody ages finding them, for me it says they're Segunda Division B.

SEASON 4 CONCLUSION

Not currently getting much time at the moment so updates will be even shorter than normal.

We finished the season in 6th place just 5 points away from a champions league position which is a superb performance for a team second favourites for relegation. I've £51m in the transfer budget and my main priority signing is a new keeper and maybe some more creativity in our attacking wide playmaker positions.

This coming season could possibly be my last season here before I move on…

2020-2021 - Hearts (Scotland, Championship)

Sacked whilst top of the Championship during the first half of the season

2020-2021 - Motherwell (Scotland, Premier League)

Took over whilst mid table finishing season in 7th place despite having enough points to finish 4th I believe. Sortitout Scotland

2021-2022 - Motherwell (Scotland, Premier League)

Finished season in 2nd place behind Celtic whilst winning the Scottish Cup and also manager of the year

2022-2023 - Motherwell (Scotland, Premier League)

Resigned whilst in 6th place but led club to Champions League group stage

2022-2023 - Middlesbrough (England, Championship)

Took over whilst 22nd and managed to finish in 3rd place and secure promotion through the play-offs. Also won the Championship manager of the year

2023-24 - Middlesbrough (England, Premier League)

Finished in 6th place and qualified for the Europa League, again also won manager of the year for the Premiership this time
