Hi guys.

 

Downloaded the full pack and when I went to unzip it, this error ("there are some data after the end of the payload data") occured on 7-Zip which meant only 2.1GB of the entire file extracted. Only seems to happen on this pack. Used an alternative extractor and the issues persists. Any tips?

 

Update: Just tried to use winrar to extract it and it says there's a “corrupt header” in the file, which would explain the 7-Zip message. There must be something wrong with the base file.

To achieve what you want in IMG1, just copy the all the flags from large flags in to nations normal folder (overwrite) and don't do anything to the config(s).
I'm not really sure what you are trying to achieve in players info page (IMG2)

Hi, guys. This has probably been answered loads of times before, but how do I get the metallic national flags on the header of the national screen (IMG1) and the information tab on the players page (IMG2)? I've disabled the configs on the logos to enable the flags, but can't seem to have them of rthe above. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. This has probably been asked and answered before, so apologies, but the metallic flags are missing at the smallest sizes (on a playe's profile page, for example) and at some bigger sizes – any help?

Good work with the Ajax staff file. As I'm a stickler for detail, I've gone through all of the new entries, and added their previous playing and staff history, achievements, changed some roles (Johnny Heitinga to under-19 manager, rather than Jong Ajax coach) etc.

I can send it to you to incorporate into the file, if you like?

I was under the impression that only premium members would download from sortitoutsi. Can you confirm whether you are downloading them directly from here or if you are using a mirror site?


Some four years ago, I did have premium membership. When I click the 'latest changes button,' it takes me to the following screen (below). I then click on 'Download Changes' and it immediately brings up a Save As screen and initiates the download.

I've tried downloading on Firefox, as I use Chrome, but the same problem persists.

Hi Mons. I'm downloading them directly off sortitoutsi. It's manageable (just checked 8.9 file and the image count corresponds to what it should be,) but it's a bit frustrating having to resume the download every 25mb. Anyone have any tips on a remedy?

Having a bit of trouble downloading 8.9 update pack. Download keeps cutting out, citing "Network Error." My internet is, from what I can see / test, working fine, so I'm just wondering if it's an issue with the website or not? Managing to handle it by just clicking "Resume," but I fear it may be at the cost of some files.

Hello,

I downloaded the complete pack last night as I hadn't kept up-to-date with the respective updates. Having downloaded it, I went to extract it (suing 7.zip) and it simply didn't extract. The 'elapsed time' ran, but no other data came up and it simply didn't extract.

I see that this time it downloaded as a PepperZip file which it previously hadn't - could this be (one of) the problems?

iirc, he generally releases a new version of his files for each official SI data update as it may be the case that some data is duplicated or modified, so I think you should wait until the latest version of his files is out. Best to ask him, though


I only ask you as Nik isn't often around over on the SI forums, so thought I'd get more luck from you. Nevertheless, thanks for your help.

No, as this patch creates a completely different installation path.

You can transfer the files over yourself if you know what you're doing, or you can wait until I release the new version of this file later today...


Thanks for clarifying. Just checking, as I didn't want to transfer the old files over into the new update and it, potentially, ends up ruining my game etc.

I look forward to the release of the new files this evening!

While I am here, I'm sure you're aware of Nik33's data files - would they be compatible with the latest update or will I have to wait for new files once more?

Just a question for those who know: how do I use the metallic national flags as opposed to the nation's respective footballing emblem - for example, the FA's logo? I have both the national flags and FA emblem-thingys downloaded within the megapack.
