Does anyone know how to update the Papa John's Trophy so that the promoted teams from League One, I.E Blackpool, Peterborough and Hull aren't in the tournament and the relegated sides I.E Rotherham, Sheff Wed and Wycombe are?

could this be to do with lack of memory or RAM available? any info would be hugely helpful.

you need to delete this helper
as those are the dates allowing season to start at a later date than normal

Thanks mate, slight issue is that when you load a new game the earliest it starts is a week before the season starts, any idea how to change this to an earlier date? thanks for all your help

Yes you get rid of the additional helpers rule
I haven't got access to the editor now to show you but it's called something like move dates virus

You need to delete them for each comp

Can you send me a few screenshots of when you have the editor to hand in order to do this? that would be great. many thanks

Hi there,

Is there anyway to put all the European leagues and cup competitions back to their original dates pre the pandemic?? i.e England season starts on August 8th and the Carabao Cup first round is 11/12th August etc?? The same with the UEFA Champions League and Europe League dates…

Just wondering if anyone has a clue how to make this happen.

hey guys, Im trying to do some updates for the new season. for example ive updated the premier league to reflect the season just finished i.e updated each clubs league positions and updated the history folder, i've done the same for the FA Cup as well, but for some reason the community shield is still between Arsenal and Liverpool like it was in 2020..

Ive done the same for the ECL and the Europa League and the Super Cup still reflects the 2020 fixture, Bayern v Sevilla…

I'm Also trying to change the english season start and end dates to reflect the season coming, any idea on how to do all this?

I am working on a version for FM21, first I need to reposition the static ads within stadiums as they move when new stadium models are introduced. The below image shows the process I potentially need to go through for 59 clubs which is quite time consuming.

Keep in mind due to a long overdue bug fix by SI the first video ad will display as black before the normal ones kick in

I don't use the FM20 mod with the FMF file as it did crash the game. I did overwrite the events folder in simatch, after backing up, naturally but I keep my sounds folder seperate in my user folder, so I can modify it, which I did initially because there were too many repeats and overlaps. I'll have another look after extracting the fmf files and see if I can overcome it, then maybe modify the the FM20 pack that was posted on FM Scout.

That doesn’t make it much clearer if I’m honest... could you do a step by step account of how we get it working for us thickos?? Thanks again

I was involved in the modifying of the match audio commentary/improved crowd sounds pack and I'm using it in FM21. However, you need to extract the data/simatch/events folder before overwriting with the FM20 "match_events" and "match_sounds" config files, or the game will crash if you attempt to overwrite the originally issued simatch files. If enough people are interested to have an audio commentary I could upload a mod.pack.

you mean place the Simatch folder in FM21/ data and then put the Simatch FMF folder in data to overwrite the old folder?? I might be being a bit thick!! thanks for your help!

I use the one on here and I think it improves the sound from previous no end. I am not much of a modder, so not even sure how you can put these sound wave files into the game. I am sure it can be done but it is beyond my capability.

Will this file work for FM21 or will it need to be updated do you know? cheers
