Being a fascist should always be something that is analysed. To think that some of the older Sunderland fans and maybe even some of their old war-time players fought (and maybe even had family members die) to stop their hateful ideology spreading leaves the idea that their club's footballing representative advocates such toxic nonsense particularly unsettling.

He's one of those players you just don't want to see retire and I love how he's been at Roma for his whole career. He'll always go down as one of the greats and it's remarkable how he's still going.

My point wasn't that McManaman launched into the tackle because of inexperience, I didn't even talk about his intentions or the reasons for his horrific tackle. I'm just saying that it is right for Martinez to stick by a young player of whom we have no real substantial knowledge about.

You mean a minority of fans, the manager who has done very little wrong, a chairman who was expressing his personal opinion and a player who has only played a handful of professional games?

And what decision? You don't have to make any knee-jerk decisions, you can just calm down and argue that the rules ought to be changed because McManaman didn't get charged. No-one is asking you to make generalizations about Wigan, you started doing it on your own. You're the one accusing the FA of being corrupt and saying that Wigan would be cheating if they survived in the Premier League- if these are the judgement calls you are making, then you're just embarrassing yourself.

Callum McManaman made his full Premier League debut days ago, you couldn't really know less about him as a player, never mind as a person. Twitter is once again completely irrelevant and unconnected to Wigan- if we had to go by Twitter messages sent by the most vocal of the football fans on the internet as a guide to club reputations, there wouldn't a single professional club on planet Earth that hasn't been tarnished by a collection of cunts at one point or another.

The FA is so not corrupt that it actually followed its own rules and regulation to the dogmatic point of actually going against commonsense reasoning. Therefore, Dave Whelan is so old he probably struggles to remember where he is of a morning, so one overexcited pensioner does not even remotely adequate with the level of scorn you are heaping on Wigan the football club. Condemning Wigan because of Whelan's comments is like accusing Blackburn Rovers of battery farming chickens.

And yes it's over a 38 game season, but 4 games have been blighted by an absolutely awful decision and subsequent ruling. You two would be the first to complain if RVP/Aguero done the same and got away with it then went on to change the course of the season. I'm not arsed as were probably safe anyway. But QPR, Villa and Sunderland might have a right to moan.

Actually, you're wrong. United fans, including myself, were complaining to high heaven about the decision that got Nani sent off, it doesn't mean Real Madrid cheated or that if they go on and win the Champion's league it will be because they are cheaters.
