Pretty incomprehensible, to be honest, and a fair bit rude to the reporter. He's acting like nobody has come in for Zaha, and yet we've confirmed our interest.

Where he admits to cheating ? Jog on

Surely 'inventing a foul' qualifies as cheating?

Well we huffed and we puffed, but we got there in the end. Smalling and Rafael looked class, Carrick was superb when he came on, really settled things done. Buttner looked unconvincing for me, Fergie having to tell him to throw it down the lines towards the end because he looked like a rabbit in headlights.

From what I've seen, Buttner has been pretty average.

The dynasty will be in good hands because David Moyes will be Fergie's successor as he is the only manager in world football who has proven he can build and rebuild a squad at the same club- and that's without resources.

Hope QPR get relegated, although these players are excellent signings for a team in trouble.

I get ya. But the headline is actually "Tevez gets 6-month driving ban" \o/

It's one of those cases where the headline doesn't match the content of the article, if you know what I mean. The headline is looking to infuriate the reader.

He wasn't banned for not understanding difficult words (in a language he ought to be fluent in by now), he was banned for breaking the law every time he drove a car.

Mike Dean had a terrific game, he got all major decisions right. I was surprised he didn't show a couple of yellow cards for dissent to some of the Arsenal players; Mertesacker was shouting in his face when he had just given Arsenal a decision ffs- and all Giroud seemed to want to do was dive and then crucify the referee for not sending the City players to prison for these simulated offences.

The last 15 minutes of pressure from Liverpool was purely due to the fact that he couldn't hold the ball up.

Well we controlled Suarez and we still made it look difficult. How Welbeck got man of the match with that hopeless display of running around to no effect whatsoever is beyond me, unfortunately. Evra, Rafael and Carrick all did better, with about 5000km less ground covered.

True, that was a piss poor use of formative years, I meant that Sneijder ought to be moving into the peak of his career now. Russia is not 'that' shit, but it's miles behind the top four leagues of Europe.

I dont understand this conversation anymore.

Eredivisie, La Liga, Serie A and Champions League winner, World Cup finalist, one of the best players of the past 5 years and you're worried about him not reaching his peak because he might end up going to China or Russia?!?!

It's a complete waste of a player to go and play in a shit league.

Pretty sure his formative years have been and gone.

Yeah, that's the real shame. Given that his game is hardly about pace and power, you'd think he could easily play at the highest level until he's at least 34.

Well obviously, but there's plenty of players on big wages at all clubs around the world, if he was as good as he was 3 years ago clubs would be paying him that.

Yeah, but I'd say that if he's not good enough to play for Inter Milan anymore, then although he is contractually obliged to be paid by his employers, for the sake of his career, he ought to be looking elsewhere. If he's still holding onto his massive wage packet, then he's not going to get his move. I would hate to see Sneijder waste his formative years at Anzhi or in the Chinese league.

Hows it his fault?

Contracts work both ways, Inter are contractually obliged to pay him what they said they would for the duration of the contract. As far as I'm aware, Sneijder is willing to play so Inter have two choices sell him or pay him.

I think clubs not wanting him is because no one really needs him, and his form has been awful before and then he hasn't played a lot of football, rather than anything financial.

Bollocks, any club would take Sneijder if he was on modest wages and available on a free.

We shouldn't lose if we put pressure on the ball, the crowd gets behind us and we play with the view to attack from the off. Liverpool are a mid-table side with one world-class player, and I would be absolutely gutted with anything other than three points.

If he played like he was worth the £200k a week he receives, then maybe he wouldn't be in such an embarrassing circumstance. His agent/handlers probably want a lot of money as well, that's probably not doing him any good. He's supposed to be one of the world's top midfield playmakers and now he's being flogged half-arsed in January.

Well I can tell you the hotel was top notch. I also liked Bradford, despite the expected heavy handed policing. It's a much nicer city than I was expecting, much more akin to Leeds (which I like) than Sheffield (which I didn't so much like). Also how ddi that club end up in League 2? Fantastic ground and supporters.

The game was pretty shocking of course, a repeat of the '94 turn around from the same deficit against Tranmere is possible of course, but I expect Bradford to score at least once, so we'll see if Big Ben and Bent have anymore 'luck' then.

Sheffield > Leeds

You just need to know where to go.

Joe Colbeck (one of our wingers) has been fined £1500 by the FA for Twitter comments... £1500?!! Thats like 2 weeks wages for him, the FA are a joke.

See link for the case report...

FA vs Joe Colbeck

Seems completely justified. His tweets are those of an invalid.
