Agreed. These platitudes will clear the air for now until the end of the season, but it all depends on whether or not he looks arsed in the remaining games and he actually stays after the World Cup.

Yeah, and Kinnear clearly has some sort of trouble with pronunciation. Comparing him to Roy Hogdson would have been a better example.

Roy Hodgson and Joe Kinnear aren't even remotely comparable.

Do you find dyslexics moronic?

Dyslexics have developmental trouble with reading, not remembering the names of work colleagues.

Do people think A.Cole should be going to Brazil? Just looking at the above squad list and the defence, there is so little top level expierence to call upon. Going with Baines and Shaw as the two left backs could be a very risky move in an already suspect looking defence.

Baines and Shaw are the future. No point taking Ashley Cole for him to be rinsed by Suarez and all the pundits to be like, 'who saw that coming?'

As opposed to all of them saying that their teammate is still a waste of space that can't hit a barn door?

How come Soldado is now the greatest striker ever after scoring 1 goal against Cardiff?

What are you talking about? He was slated for laziness and poor positioning on MOTD2.

If you wouldn't select Shaw because he (supposedly) can't defend, the fact that you would suggest Danny Rose is utterly bemusing.

BAE is awful.

Rose has apparently only played 4 times for Spurs this season according to wiki?

That's because he's abysmal.

What is that supposed to show exactly? Half the time the pass to Kagawa is definitely the wrong one.

Call me crazy, but that Dnipro player clearly deliberately headbutts him. Plus, their team was diving all game, why the fuck not retaliate?

It's a weird one because Sam Allardyce, Tony Pulis and Steve McClaren could all argue to have stronger CVs than David Moyes. None of those managers would be considered even remotely good enough to manage United.

If it's not working out, then they might as well, especially if they've put in severance clauses. There's so much money at stake when it comes to staying in the league, and he's been a bland appointment thus far. West Brom are regressing slowly, and a bold decision now might keep them up.

He's not actually wrong though.

A big feature of us this season has been our ability to concede whenever, wherever and regardless of how well we're playing.

Anyway, I'd take a draw tonight. Just go there, shut up shop and attempt to win the game 1 or 2 nil. Nothing fancy, just a solid away Champions Leauge performance.

I know he's right, that's why I'm lashing out!

Paul Lambert has to go soon, Villa have been below par for nearly two whole seasons, and it looks as if Benteke should have been sold last summer whilst his stock was high.

As far as Newcastle are concerned, have you guys wrapped up the Remy deal yet, or is there an actual possibility that QPR get promoted and he lines up against you next season?

I wasn't highlighting it in any light ffs. I merely posted the bloody breakdown of what Rooney will be paid as it was interesting to see, without any comment passed.

Again, people on here are too fucking trigger happy at times and jump the boat on anything.

For the record. I couldn't give a shit what United pay Rooney. Do I think he's worth it? Not at all. Do I think Rooney has made United look a little silly? Absolutely. That's about the extent of it.

Utter bollocks. The last post you made before the one you are being criticized for was 'Moyes and United have just had their pants pulled down', and then you followed it with a breakdown of his contract. You provided the context, no-one else.

£300k on the wage bill- that could be Kroos, Vidal and Shaw with change every week.

PS. Don't mistake that point for any sort of belief that United are capable of making any of those signings in their current state.

Napoli's reserve keeper tore his ACL during their game with Swansea last night, hope the f*ckwits commenting on the game are suitably embarrassed after going on and on about how he was faking and wasting time.

Andy Townsend described him as 'pathetic'. Should lose his job.

He's clearly at least 30, it's not uncommon for footballers from lesser developed nations to lie about their age. Apparently Obafemi Martins peaked at 18 years old when he was playing for Inter and yet was crap by the time he was 25.

Unsurprisingly, he's heading off to a slower league. I'm actually quite annoyed at Vidic actually, he's only 32, could have plenty of years with us to come, but clearly has no stomach for the fight. He's supposed to be our captain, but he's certainly not playing like it this season.

What? He's not suing to get his job back, he's suing for damages.

Malky Mackay taking over for the derby would be pretty tasty, although I'm not really sure his teams play the sort of football that Swansea have deliberately attempted to cultivate over multiple managers.

Doubt thats a realistic option though.

I think Simone might be interested, and he's doing a very good job at Atletico.

The likes of Pep, Klopp and Mourinho are long gone.

Is Klopp out of the question though? Man United is still a considerable step up from Dortmund, he's expressed interest in managing the Premier League and he'll get to work with the likes of Rooney, Van Persie and Mata. If he gets a sizeable budget to spend, it's a great opportunity.

If Klopp is not an option, I don't see why Diego Simeone wouldn't be one to rule out too.

Jurgen Klopp, personally. He's got the best out of Dortmund, he's got a great relationship with his players, and he could convince the likes of Reus. Hummels and Gundogan to come with him. He'd also get the best out of Kagawa.

One thing that I've noticed with David Moyes is that he has lowered expectations. Just missing out on 5th seems like an inevitability with this turgid group of underachieving players, and the crazy market conditions that have stopped us strengthening.

I'm sorry, but if any one of Mourinho, Guardiola, Klopp or Ancelotti became the next United manager in the summer, you could argue that expectations for this season would have actually been higher than the previous one. Do fans think we would have only brought in Fellaini? Do you think we would find it difficult to play decent football? Do you think players would look so demotivated, or uninspired under any of those managers?

I feel like we've put a manager who is potentially good enough for United into the job, rather than someone United should be lucky to have. It all depends on the summer. If we get to the final week of the summer transfer window, and fans aren't jizzing their pants over who we've recruited, he's got a real problem on his hands.

You could make that argument for every promoted club though, yet it never happens. Also, most managerial changes seem to be paying off this season - Sunderland are better off with Poyet than Di Canio, Crystal Palace are infinitely stronger with Pulis and Meulensteen has done more with Fulham than Jol.

Watching the team, you wouldn't even notice the transition.

One of the oddest deals of the window.

Exactly. Not even remotely good enough for a shite team like Fulham, and yet Seedorf seems willing to snatch him up. With a crocked Essien joining as well, it's like he's building a team designed meticulously to hilariously fail.

Shame that Fernando has spurned the chance to join United for City, I doubt he'll get any first-team football at the Etihad.
